> 3 dayI really enjoyed this book. Delaney was a strong , confident woman who was a helicopter pilot. Tuck a SEAL who Delaney had the Hots for but didnt want to get involve with a SEAL and she stated she doesnt need a man in her life. Tuck had the Hots for Delaney and he didnt want to share her but he did not want a relationship. Not going to spoil the rest but I was on edge during the book but the end was Awesome . Great Job Elle James

> 3 dayI love a good book about people in the Armed Forces, especially hot hunky guys who are members of an elite team of Navy SEALs! The author included interesting tidbits of information about Military life. She also gave detailed descriptions of the terrain in Afghanistan, the country in which the SEAL team are in while performing their mission. I will definitely be reading more in this series of books by Elle James. .

25-11-2024Reed Tuck Tucker is a fearless SEAL. The only thing he fears is commitment. Whenever things get more serious between him and his flirts, he dumps the ladies. Until he mets Army Captain Delaney O Connell, the only female SOAR pilot on their outpost. Their relationship started as a flirt but things have changed: Tuck knows that he loves Delaney and he is seriously fighting with his insecurity. Delaney, on the other hand, wants a commitment from Tuck although shes afraid of the fraternization rule and the repercussions on both their careers. But before they can sort out their issues, their common friend Cory Reaper Nipton proposes to her. Before Tuck and Delaney can sort out what to do, Reaper is seriously injured during a mission and Delaney accepts his marriage proposal while hes still on the gurney. Perfect! Thats all I wouldve to say regarding this book. The plot was a perfect mix between suspense and romance, including some really hot love scenes. But there was also some really good soul searching from the main characters, which gave the necessary depth to the story line. The twist towards the ending of the book put me out of my misery and offered a rewarding happy end. Couldnt have wished for more! P.S. If you likes this storyline try: Deadly Descent by Kaylea Cross

> 3 dayThis book about Seals pits two seals who are male and one who is female. The female is the pilot of a helicopter and the males are those who go on the ground and fight it out there. The female has to choose between the two men. Though she loves the one for reasons you will find out when You read the book, she is ready to marry the other man. Fightying, and romance; an interesting combination. ; J. Robert Ewbank author John Wesley, Natural Man, and the Isms Wesleys Wars To Whom It May Concern and Tell Me About the United Methodist Church

> 3 dayPremise was a bit trite, and Im not sure after all the other commitments in their lives, they would have made this one.

> 3 dayThis was an unexpected read. A lot of these kinds of books about seals and romance. But I have to say this one kept my interest and heart rate up. I loved the fact of the lady in the story is also a strong character. Beautifully written , I tore my heart out a many a chapter, loved the way it ended, or began, you choose. I loved the fact that this book did not end in a cliffhanger. Thank you to the Author for making it a complete story. Excellent book, fantastic. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayGreat story! I loved that Delaney was the one flying the helicopter when her boys needed. I felt bad for Tuck when he thought that she was going to marry his best friend but when he discovered that he was wrong, the hotness proceeded. Hot sexual encounters in the sand and tense moments in a war zone makes for an amazing story line and great book! Reviewed by an Angel as part of the Audrey Carlan Street Team Book Club.

> 3 dayI listened to the audio version, and the narration was decent. Periodically, Tuck had a twang to his accent, not quite southern, but I couldnt put NY finger on it. I wasnt sure if that was part of the character or the narrator. It was consistent, but it also wasnt distracting. The story was ok. I couldnt understand why these fierce, fighting warriors facing death and dismemberment could not say I dont want to marry you, or we are involved, or manage to get their point across. I would have felt the same frustration no matter what the characters careers happened to be. I did enjoy the action in the book. Once Reaper had his issue and Razor was leaving for the sandbox the story became pretty predictable and the ending was no big surprise. Not a bad way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon.
