Awesome little compressor. Six stars, its just better than great! Quiet, I mean QUIET!!! Great construction and finish. Light as a feather. Runs my 16 ga. nailer as fast as I want to go with 13 - 15 shots between cycles. Goes even farther with brads & pinners. I dont know how fast you are but this puppy will wear me out even hanging doors and heavy molding. I will probably never use anything else for one gun finish and repair jobs. Perfect for cabinetry too. The only negatives Ive read on this compressor were from people who apparently expected it to keep an entire work crew busy. This is a one man tool and greatly exceeds its rated capacity for such. It would make a perfect hobby compressor but understand its way better than that. If you are a one or two man show, or do repair and project work check this compressor out. In my opinion its the cats pajamas. PS- I learned of this compressor from a friend whos son is the resident carpenter for a couple of the HGTV seriess (Thanks Dave!). My friend even uses it for light framing and stapling flooring. He loves it and he has access to anything he wants. UPDATE: May2015. Everything I said above - Light, small, quiet, professional quality. Whats not to love?

First off, let me tell you that I have five compressors and a couple of inflators now and have used many in over thirty years of contracting. This thing is great. After using my buddys I ordered one the next day. This does not take the place of my twin tank Empire unit for framing or heavier trim work, this will not take the place of a shop compressor or job-site unit. However - for a quick trim or repair job with a pinner, narrow crown stapler and even up to my 15ga finish nailer this is just fine. What a joy to carry this instead of a 50-60 pound unit in and out of small jobs. Quiet, quick, light and seems well built. The regulator was sticking for a while but that cleared up and I cracked the gauge glass getting it in and out of the truck so often. Still just keeps on pumping.

Great for small nails and staples. Easy to carry around, more punch than I thought possible for 2 nails into harder woods like oak.

This little powerhouse was just what I was looking for in the shop. I do small shop woodworking and lot of DIY on the house. Maneuvering a pancake compressor around the dining room and living room is a big pain plus it can result in annoying red marks all over everything. You reno guys know what I mean. And I havent even addressed the issue of noise. This little compressor is perfect for shooting a few pins or brads in the shop or resetting that pesky piece of recalcitrant molding. It is amazingly quiet, well built, and light. No, you wont have enough firepower to frame a wall or put up five hundred feet of crown molding, but it works wonders on the little jobs. I keep it tucked under my woodworking bench where it sits like a good soldier, ready to spring into action. I still have my larger compressor for the big jobs, but I turn to this little guy first. And I can still hear the shop stereo or my wifes call to supper while its running.

Im a general contractor specializing in finish carpentry and cabinetry. I love this compressor. In fact, I just purchased my third. I suppose I use it harder than it should be used, so Ive burned through a couple of them. But thats over a nine year period. So no. It wont last forever if you use it hard, but it will do the job for several years. And at the price it sells for, its no big deal replacing a dead one. It easily runs a finish nailer or a brad nailer. The turnover time is only okay, and depending on the nail gun I use, I can only get so many shots off before it needs to refill. With a brad nailer I can usually keep shooting while it refills. But look. There is a tradeoff with this puppy. Its light. Really light. Compared to my Emglo, the compressor I used to lug around, its like night and day. (I keep the Emglo in my shop now, most of the time.) Its also quiet. It just hums, really. It also doesnt pull the amps that my Emglo pulls, so I can use it on a long extension cord if I need to. I just have nothing bad to say about this little Senco. There is one important thing to remember, however. Empty the tank when you are finished using it. The only troubles I have had with this compressor have been caused by rust from the tank. So let out the air and the water that condensates on the inside of the tank after each use. Do that and this compressor should last you for years.

This compressor is light and compact and easily maneuvered around the job site. Construction is solid with good quality components and great overall design. It is also the quietest compressor I have ever heard. Hurricane Michael left us with a lot of repair work to our vacation home in Mexico Beach, FL. I could not haul all the tools I needed from home in PA, so I bought this small compressor from Amazon to power a brad nailer for replacing floor and trim. The compressor worked perfectly and quietly, and did not even bother our dogs when it kicked on.

Bought this for Home/ work To use with a pin nailer and 18 staple and brad gun It does not get used everyday This is very quiet and very light Which helps this old guy I was using a CP compressor from harbor freight Way to noisy and took forever to pump up and heavy This is quick and recover time is great Tried it out in the living room and I could still hear the TV I did pump it up to full pressure shut it off and left it sit I did notice it only lost about 5 pounds of pressure in a 10 hour period Very Happy with it Buy it and you wont be sorry Just remember you can not run a impact gun Cut off wheel and so on with this If you need one to run those tools buy a bigger one But for staples and pin nailers this is great

i just love this super little compressor!!! this thing rocks, i can have it running in the house with a baby sleeping in the next room and not wake the little rug rat. It keeps up with my Grex air brush without staying on the whole time like the compressor I had before. I had only one problem with it, it started to leak air from the valve that turns the compressor off when it got to pressure, so I sprayed the valve with WD 40 and gave it a good tap on the valve and walla fixed. I would buy another on of these in a hot second so if your looking for a good compressor this is it at a reasonable price so buy away with confidence, you wont be disappointed.

Pros: Looks nice Lightweight Quiet good quality low power draw Cons: Its seriously useless unless all you need it to do is inflate tires Small tank very long recycle time The motor was getting hot after just a couple cycles in 60 deg ambient temp oil-less design (for some this might be a good thing) I already have a large dual pump 30 gal air compressor. When i purchased this one, i was looking for the smallest USEFUL portable compressor that is not noisy. Maybe i was expecting too much from this little compressor, i guess it was too good to be true. I bought it for a finishing project but when i tested with my 15ga ridgid nailer, the motor would kick in after 4-5 nails and it would run for about a minute. In my book thats bad even for the occasional user, let alone a contractor. Keep in mind that the maximum duty on this is 50% so if you use it at 100% (because it can barely keep up), it will not last. I ended up also purchasing a Makita MAC700 and while the price is higher, its a night and day difference. The Makita is heavier but still portable. As far as air throughput and recycle time the Makita runs circles around this one. The Makita is just as silent and is an oiled design so it should last more as well. For the price of this compressor I was initially thinking of keeping both the Makita and this one. But then I tried coming up with a reason to keep it and couldnt find one. The super long recycle time is what killed the deal for me. For the Makita I also hooked up a 5 gal external portable tank to improve surge capability but when i tried that with the senco, the recharge time was abismal.

I had one of these about 15 years ago and sold it because I had a big compressor. I regretted it, so I bought another one. I use it for airing up tires on the all my vehicles. It was a great compressor then, and they are making them the same way now. Its small, so dont expect to run an impact. It fills and stays full. It doesnt lose air and keep cycling. Its also very quiet in my opinion.
