> 3 dayOverall a great little compressor for trim work. It will keep up with an 18 gauge Brad nailer as long S you aren’t nailing too fast and great for 23 gauge pinner. A little light for a 16 gauge gun. A couple things I don’t like are the switch is under the handle so it’s not in a great spot. Also, the gauges are on backwards so if you are looking at the front of it the gauges are upside down. I noticed someone else’s picture it is the same way. Drives me OCD crazy. Also I wish the outlet for the hose was straight out the front instead of going sideways. The size and weight and noise are all great and I also really like the lever to drain the tank. Makes wrapping up at the end of the day really fast since you don’t have to sit there pulling the spring release for 5 minutes like most compressors.

> 3 dayIm a mid-50s woman DIY-er, and I hate dragging the large pancake style compressor up to the house from our garage. And the noise was a lot. This little one is a cinch to operate and its so quiet I thought something was wrong at first. My husband acted like I was a wimp to want to buy something so small, but now its his go-to compressor as well. Well worth the investment.

> 3 dayI purchased two of these compressors. I gave one to my son who is a general contractor and I use the other, also in construction. The original reason I purchased this compressor was to use in my 5th wheel RV on a trip to refill my tires on the RV so I could maintain the correct PSI in the tires. My 5th wheel is 40 long so it is hard to find gas stations that I can fit into in order to fill my tires when needed. This compressor was only around 20# so it didnt add much weight .This compressor handled filling my RV tires with a few pounds to maintain 80# in tires. It wasnt as fast as a larger compressor, but it only took approximately 10 minutes to do 6 tires. After the trip, I use it in construction, as does my son. He has larger compressors, but when he only needs to nail a few items, or has to climb 4 flights of stairs with a compressor, this little air compressor does a great job and is very light. Its also very quiet. Other carpenters on the job site love it also. So glad I purchased this.

> 3 dayI recently had to change thing at my home studio that i use for airbrushing projects. I had a Porter Cable 6gal pancake compressor. and it works fantastic with only one drawback. It is very very loud inside the house hence all the complaints every time i turned it on. So I went hunting for something a little quieter. The best place to search was here at Amazon and not to my surprise I found and read the reviews on the Senco PC1010 and bought it. WOW! What a great buy for the money. Very affordable, very easy to get around and best of all it is very quiet. the recovery time is very short. If you are looking for a great airbrush compressor save yourself a lot of money and get this compressor. You will not regret it.

> 3 dayHearing is believing. This compressor purrs. Using is believing. This is plenty of compressor for smaller, but not necessarily small, jobs. As a guy with lots of woodworking to do around the house, but no commercial framing or heavy construction needs, its perfect. Light, very quiet, easy to operate. Nicely finished. Well packaged. Delivered on time. A great value. To my bright yellow, miserably loud Campbell Hausfeld: thanks for the service, but youre headed for Craigslist, baby. Now, an editorial: Why in the world dont other toolmakers understand that very few of us, perhaps none of us, want loud, clumsy tools? Why do toolmakers think that were just a bunch of uncritical, drooling knuckle-draggers happy to bang on pots and pans and ecstatic to have actual electricity instead of water wheels to run our tools? Whens the last time you didnt wince at the noise of your table saw, compressor, shop vac, sander, router, or other power tool? When is the last time you held a power tool and had that same sense of amazement and gee-whiz appreciation that you get picking up a new smartphone or iPad? Or when you get behind the wheel of a decent new car? Most toolmakers seem stuck in the business model of US carmakers circa 1975 -- youll take what we make, and well make what were used to making, irrespective of quality, convenience, and overall value. If you want innovation, well spray on a new paint color and add a Landau top. Cmon, guys. Apple gets it. Blackberry gets it. Toyota gets it. Google gets it. Even US automakers finally get it. Where are the 21st century power tools? Why should it be such an amazing thing to find, finally, a quiet, well-built compressor? OK, off the soapbox and down to the basement....

> 3 dayEverything about this product looks Top quality, from the craftsmanship, to the parts used... this should be the last air compressor I buy; should take care of all my needs... I purchased for my plasma cutter (worked great!) If your looking for a small, QUIET & trustworthy compressor, & want piece of mind, then I highly recommend this one! My pc is almost as loud as this compressor... your average box fan is substantially louder! I could run this in the living room, right beside the TV, & no-one would bat an eye, seriously!

> 3 dayI usually dont take the time to write reviews as Im too busy, but this time is different. I ordered this little compressor because my friend had one and loved it. He said he was going around looking for things to nail at his house just so he could use his compressor. I know SENCO is a great brand and being an upholsterer, I have used their staple guns and know they are good. This compressor is light as a feather and can be moved around easily. I drive finishing nails as well as long staples with this little machine. When I first got it I filled it with air and then unplugged it for the weekend. When I came in on Monday morning it was still full and the needle on the gauge had not moved. It held air all weekend. My big compressor just doesnt do that. This little machine is the quietest compressor I have ever heard. It doesnt make you jump every time it switches on. Thumbs up for this tool!

> 3 dayFirst, the build quality is excellent - doesnt feel cheap or poor quality. I expect it will last for years. Its very portable and easy to carry. Pretty quiet, about like youd expect if youre used to compressors - more on quieter side. Cons are the 1 gallon is on the small side and the 1/2 HP is on the weaker side. Using a nozzle gun youve really only got about 7 to 15 seconds of straight usage before it runs out - with decreasing pressure over that time (obviously depending on air flow of nozzle). Recharge from empty is about a minute - which can be frustrating to stop and let it refill. This would be good if youre doing nailing or something with a slight pause in between usages so it can catch up, but if youre using it to blow things off like in a shop, the capacity is small and engine behind refill speed. If youre using it intermittently and for small projects, its good. But if youre using it in a workshop where youll need air stream constantly, Id go with either 2+ gallon or 1+ HP as youll find yourself stopping and waiting for it to refill. Used it to blow dust out of vacuum and had to keep stopping for it to catch up. This isnt a fault in the product, just went too lean on specs for my needs. Overall it is good quality and works well, but hits limits quickly. In hindsight Id get either bigger tank or more powerful compressor engine for faster refill rate - even at higher cost.
