Sennheiser Genuine Adapter Cable Female 1/4 6.3mm to Male 1/8 3.5mm Plug for Headphones

I like this product. It is a better design than all the alternative female to male adapters. The issue is that the male end doesnt always make good contact with the jack. I have to twist it and adjust the placement to ensure complete electrical contact. This happens in all of the devices Ive tested it with.

It was the one I wanted since I have a set of Sennheiser HD800 that I plug into my Cayin n5 and I wasnt getting a good connection with the adapter I was using.This one did the trick and now I am a happy camper.No static,good connection,snug fit.Id certainly buy it again and recommend it to all those looking for this kind of adapter.Top of my list.Quality product.

Like the most helpful reviewer on this list, I too bought Fostex headphones with the heavy 1/4 plug. I first bought a cheap adapter and realized at some point its either going to snap off while plugged in, or loosen the connection and ruin whatever component Im plugging it into. With a cheap adapter, you dont want all the weight of your 1/4 plug, plus the cable (especially if its heavy), being solely supported by the tiny 1/8 adapter (see my pic). This Sennheiser adapter is flexible, and long enough, to allow it to rest on whatever surface youre at, putting no stress on the 1/8 adapter end and whatever its plugged into. Its a no brainer! Well worth it, especially for the piece of mind that youre not damaging your connections!

This is my 2nd one. It’s cheaper then some other hi quality adapters but it performs great. It’s sturdy and very well build.
