I shopped around and found that Sennheiser offered the adapter for the standard 1/4 to 1/8 conversion. Sound quality was not diminished in the least bit.

I checked Sennheisers website, where its also less money -- IF its in stock. Sennheisers website does not currently show the Part number referenced here to be valid (although it may have been).

Solid construction for the price. Very snug fit with a 1/4in audio terminal. The sound quality does not suffer either from the adapter.

Working good

Bought this to replace bulky/ awkward adapter that came with headphones. Bought this because it said that it was Sennheiser which is the brand of my headphones. I got the adapter and it was packaged in a ziplock bag with no label at all. The adapter itself does not have any brand stamp either. Just hope now that the item is indeed a Sennheiser brand so Im sure of its quality.

Perfect clear sound without any additions to it. Soft subtle rubberized exterior cover on the gold metallic parts.
