Great value DAC cable that is recognized and performs exactly as expected. This is the same part number as the cable that I received when purchasing one directly from Ubiquiti.

This DAC cable is intended for use with SFP+ ports and works well on Ubiquiti networking gear. I do want to point out that as of this writing, the Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro supports this cable, but due to a firmware bug in that product, it will randomly drop the link to whatever is beyond it. Connecting two 48-port switches with this cable (as I did) works flawlessly! I hope this review helps you make an informed purchasing decision!

Ultimately I will use these between 4 Ubiquiti Switch Pro 48 at the rated 10g, but during the transition, I have them bridging some older Cisco 10/100 poe switches. They linked right up within seconds and connected at 1gb (the cisco has 1g uplinks). Also connected at 10g between the ubiquiti switches. The modules are positive locking and stay put. The pull loops release the lock on these. I did have to push in a little while pulling the strap to release on the older switches. These are really a good value for the money.

Solid construction, worked perfectly out of the package without any issues. Purchased to use with my UDM-SE, which picked it up as a full 10 Gbps immediately (see screenshot). Would purchase again for future deployments.

Bought this to connect my Ubiquiti UDM-SE to my Switch. Plugged in, turned both on, BOOM! Just worked! Didnt have to set speeds, mess with any settings like they talk about in the forums, it just worked and was only $8.00!!!
