I tried using this device on multiple current Ubiquiti devices and it would not work. I suspect that it is not unlocked for all Ubiquiti devices.

Great shortie SFP+ cable. The 0.25M cable is the perfect length to connect two 1U devices that are right on top of each other. I use it to connect my Unifi UDMP to a USW Aggregation switch. Cable is well built and well packaged. Ubiquiti gear recognizes it as 10Gbps link. No complaints here.

Cables work exactly as described. We use them to link Ubiquiti switches and they work great.

March 2022: initially had know issues with 10g connection, data transfer rates where 1.1g+ per second, iperf tested. March 2023: cable would not auto negotiate to 10g, and when forced to 10g, iperf data transfer rates at 5-6 mbps per second. Fore to 1g connection, iperf rats at 650-450 mbps per second. At this time it is not worth the time and effort to pull the cable and send it back and wait for a replacement.

Used in Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro and USW-16-PoE as a 1Gb connection. Manually set speed on UDM Pro and switch. Cheaper than getting two SFP modules.
