Love this vacuum so much! I have another stick shark vacuum that I use in my motorhome which doesn’t have much carpet it’s majority vinyl and it does a really good job. So I thought it’d look to find another shark brand stick vacuum that I’d spend more on. Couldn’t be happier! I have hardwood and some rugs/carpet in my house. It picked up everything from dirt/debris to dog hair easily off the hardwood. And In the kids rooms which have carpet it picked up so much dirt ( I run a roomba twice weekly in these rooms scheduled). Can’t believe all the dirt left behind from the roomba that it picked up! Also loved the upholstery attachment to clean my sectional. Picked up so much dog hair and made it look so clean. Would buy again!

I previously owned, for 12 years, a Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro corded stick vacuum, and I will not go back to a canister vacuum which I purchased numerous times. Its lightweight, suction is great, and it fits under the bed and most furniture. If you empty the dust cup once a month or sooner, if needed, and clean the filters at the same time, the vacuum will sevice you for many years. Mine probably would have lasted longer if I had remembered to change, or wash the filters when I emptied the dust cup this last time.

I live in Florida and its hot enough trying to vacuum without hot air being blown on my upper body. There isnt even a decent brush for baseboard cleaning. I have a Dirt Devil Vision Self-Propelled that has been excellent since 2002. The handle release pedal broke and I cant find a replacement; therefore, I bought this per my daughters recommendation. I have flipped it in the opposite direction to try to get a brush to work on baseboards but its not happening. Poor design engineering. I will check for other accessories for this Shark in the hope that something will improve performance. It doesnt get under everything either as is claimed. I guess Swiffer will do the job better. I have never changed attachments in my life so many times only to be disappointed. I was hoping for a cleaner house.

This is the Sthil Chainsaw of carpet vacuums. Honest, Ive been around for a long time and this thing runs circles around Grandmas Kirby or Electrolux. Turns an old carpet into like-new.

I use this probably twice a week and sometimes 3 because I like all the attachments it comes with to really help clean everywhere

Works great but top heavy. Wont stand on its own so need to store leaning or laying down if you dont have a place for the hook.

    * I paid full price for this product. Im very demanding of my vacuums. I have 2 large high-shedding dogs and 2 cats, and I expect a vacuum to be able to handle all that comes with that. I had a Dyson when my house was wall-to-wall carpets, so my standards are high. Now my house is all hardwood and ceramic tile, which led me to this. This little Shark handles everything with flying colors: large amounts of pet hair, cat litter, dirt, dust, crumbs, and whatever else ends up on the floor courtesy of the critters. It cleans floors, corners and edges, steps, furniture, behind/under furniture, pet beds, drapes and curtains, and pretty much anything else that you would want to vacuum. The Sharks insane flexibility is due to the fact that its basically a high-powered dust buster with numerous interchangeable attachments. You can attach a cleaning head directly to the dust buster for close-up, handheld use, attach a cleaning head to the wand and the wand to the dust buster to clean floors and drapes, or attach a cleaning head to the flexible hose for more maneuverable cleaning. For floor cleaning you get a spinning brush head and a flat head with a detachable machine-washable microfiber cloth specially for hardwood floors. You also get a smaller spinning brush head for furniture, steps, etc, an edge tool, and a small flat tool for more delicate cleaning. Note that the spinning heads are not powered, they spin from the suction of the dust buster, but the suction power is still very good. Everything clicks easily together and have release buttons to take apart again - quick and simple. The dust bin is a good size, I can do a couple rooms before having to empty it. The cord is very long, so you can easily do a staircase, or go from room to room without having to move the plug every time. The floor cleaning heads pivot from side to side easily with a flick of the wrist for maximum maneuverability. Even the headlights, which I always thought were mostly gimmicky, actually work, lighting up dust and dirt that is invisible on my dark hardwood floors even with plenty of light in the room. A few minor negatives, which are not design flaws but simply consequences of the design to be aware of: - When using as a vacuum, it is top-heavy because the motor and dust bin are at the top. That said, its not actually heavy, its just that all the weight is in the top. This also means that it cant stand on its own, it has be leaned against a wall. Fortunately there are little rubber pads on the back of both the unit and the dust bin, so once its propped against the wall it doesnt fall over. It also comes with a wall mount if youre worried about kids or pets knocking it over. - There isnt space to store the attachments on the unit itself. They come with a convenient storage bag, but you have to carry them with you or go through rooms multiple times with different attachment configurations based on whatever youre cleaning. This is a minor inconvenience, but it keeps the unit light and slim. Overall Im very happy with the performance and versatility of this little vacuum.

so I was very excited to get a new vacuum cleaner, my last shark vacuum didn’t last very long; the hose completely fell apart and that was very disappointing. so the first thing I noticed with this new shark vac is that it came with two basic tools, and no way to attach them to the stick. How inconvenient is that? also no way to attach it to the wall so that I can store it upright. why these two necessary pieces were not included in my purchase is beyond me. Everybody trying to make extra bucks these days I guess. not only was that very disappointing but the suction power is weak. Once again, shark does not know how to design vacuum cleaners for people who actually use them —I couldn’t even vacuum underneath my couch because of the way they designed this thing. And the dirt cup is so small you have to change it before you can even finish vacuuming, do not buy this vacuum cleaner, you will be disappointed.

I just recommended this vacuum for the umpteenth time (to our company owner, for our office and because hes interested in a new vacuum for his home). Since I love it so much, I guess I should take a couple minutes to review it. I am not a domestic diva by any means. So its a big deal that I love this machine. I decided against a cordless model since cordless always means a big heavy battery pack, and this has a long enough cord that it doesnt have to constantly be plugged and unplugged. Its not heavy but the suction is great. In fact, if you have lightweight area rugs, be careful because it can grab them pretty easily. The motor head has a light, which helps tremendously, and it swivels and lays flat making it easy to get around and under furniture and other obstacles. It also seems to vacuum my vinyl floor pretty well. Someone mentioned that its too loud but it doesnt seem any different than any other vacuum Ive used, so I guess the noise level depends on what youre comparing it to. When you dont need the motor head, you just step on a lever and it comes off, leaving you with a handheld vacuum that can reach the cobwebs in the corner of ceilings (depending on your ceiling height). If you want an even more compact vacuum for vacuuming stairs or your car interior, its easy to remove the stick portion. Ordinarily switching out a lot of parts makes it a cumbersome affair but its easy with this vacuum, and just as easy to click the parts back on. I bought this model earlier in 2022 but I see it has been upgraded since then, so the attachments store on the body. That addresses one of 2 issues I had with this. The other issue is that you cant leave it upright--I have to rest it against the molding of a doorway or a piece of furniture. It really hasnt been a problem but I thought it was worth mentioning. I do not have a pet so I cant comment on pet hair, but I shed a lot of hair myself and it seems to pick it up fine. It does have a bagless cup that I empty after each vacuuming session. Overall, I highly recommend this model and look forward to having one in our office to get all the paper scraps, etc. on my office carpet that the cleaning crew doesnt get to. Best vacuum Ive ever had and the only one I have ever loved (probably the only cleaning tool I have ever loved, in fact). No regrets at all. Thanks to Shark for a well-designed machine!
