Find this very top heavy and as a person with muscle disability it is cumbersome. Also does not stand upright by itself very irritating have to rest it against walls/ chairs everytime I want to move something. I it does sweep and pick up sweep well but 1 month later it still makes my shoulder ache after using.

We have a much older Shark, where the canister is actually in the head. This was used on a daily basis for our hardwood floors and on the minimal carpet that is in the house. The battery is giving out so we decided to get a cordless Rocket Lift Away. The vacuum is quiet and has excellent suction power. It is actually pretty cool to see how much cat hair, dust, dander. etc. is picked up everyday. Even though we have an air purifier, it is good to know this debris gets contained and does not get a chance to be inhaled. Super easy to use, empty and clean. The only slight bummer is that the the new head is about 2.5 smaller than our older one. Not a big deal as the new one does such a better job. I took a photo to show size difference. I recommend this smaller, but very practical vacuum.

Reasons I like this more than my Dyson v7 animal which recently broke: 1- glides much easier on both hardwood and carpet 2- about the same size dust collection chamber 3- the light is actually really helpful 4- no wall mount needed. Can change locations for charging as long as there’s an outlet nearby 5- lighter weight. As you can see my 4 year old enjoys vacuuming I’m not sure how great the battery life is because I run my Eufy robot vac at least once a day. So I use this mainly around the cats litter box or in more concentrated areas if they get dirty etc. My robot vac does the general daily cleaning. If you’re looking for a vacuum for this purpose then this one is perfect.

This vacuum is very easily set up and gets under all of my furniture, cutting my cleaning times in half. The battery life is decent and last about 30 minutes before needing to be recharged I would highly recommend this vacuum for people with little carpet in their homes because it does get stuck on carpet occasionally and the head stop spinning.

I bought this as a placeholder until I could fix my stick Dysen. After my Dysen was repaired, seemed to me the canister didn’t contain as much as the shark had so, being an engineer decided to do a test. I used the Dysen to clean my living room carpet and brick floored kitchen. Emptied the canister onto a paper towel. Then did two equivalent rooms and the shark had twice as much. Then I went over the same floors I had used the $600 Dysen on and the shark, on a supposedly clean floor, the sharks canister was half full of dust and dog and cat hair. Going to give my Dysen to my daughter and keep the shark for me! Better price, better stick vacuum. Would recommend this unit over any. Also, for those of you who worry about weight, shark is light and really easy to use.

My mom loved my Dyson V7. I liked it but felt like it was built like a kids toy, so much cheap flexible plastic! Tried this one out as it seemed very comparable to the Dyson and another friend had a shark wond model that impressed me. It works! I guess thats assumed but it does suck stuff up off your floor. It is just a bit weaker on suction than the Dyson but I was pleasantly surprised that it wouldnt shut off constantly when vacuuming a shag throw rug we have under my bed (like the Dyson would). So it may take an extra pass that you would likely be doing anyway, but it doesnt shut off. I also found the run time to be very similar to the Dyson. If the two were the same price Id have a very hard time choosing (that wall mount for the Dyson is pretty slick) but at MSRP... This one is a no hesitation purchase.

I flat out love this vacuum. Light weight, non-clogging roller, excellent suction, easy to clean filters, large dirt holder, easy to take apart and store and long lasting battery. Great on carpet and bare floors. Yes, great on carpet. Ive had other brands, and this one is the best by far. Shop Amazon Warehouse or Ebay for best prices. I paid $149 on Amazon Warehouse and $139 on Ebay. (Got another one for my studio office!) My two have slightly different rollers. One has all plastic fins, and the other is a mix of plastic fins and brushes. Both seem to avoid clogging and both are good on carpet. The part brush roller may be a smidge better, but really, its hard to go wrong.

I have one of these sweepers at home and I thought it would be a good addition for the office. It is lightweight, nice suction power, different attachments, and nice to use on all floor surfaces.

The Shark Rocket Cordless Stick Vacuum combines deep-cleaning suction with cordless convenience. Powerful suction delivers deep cleaning on both hard floors and carpets while its lightweight design and removable handheld vacuum allow for cleaning from floor to ceiling. Convenience doesn’t stop after use-the XL dust cup features CleanTouch technology for hands-off debris disposal.
