We have a few vacuums at home and this one has become my go to. While it is not as powerful as our Dyson, the convenience of having it cord free makes up for it. Pros -Lightweight and easy to maneuver. Even my four-year-old can use it. -easy to empty. There aren’t so many parts and it is pretty self-explanatory -decent suction. There is a power boosting mode you can use that gives it a really good suction but it drains the battery much faster. -you can go for a room to room without having to re-plug the cord Cons -The battery doesn’t last so long so you might have to do your home in shifts -There is no stand for charging. You have to prop it up against some thing near an outlet -It doesn’t stand up on its own Overall I have compared it with cordless stick vacuums of other price points and four what you are paying this is a great value

Works well. Light weight so it is easy to maneuver. Easy to empty what it has picked up.

I really like the idea of a stick vacuum. And I like this one. It’s so much easier than a corded vac. BUT… 2 callouts: 1- The vacuum works great when you’re moving forward. But if you try to back up and vacuum anything as you back over it, forget it. I was shocked to learn this because I’ve never had a vacuum that doesn’t pick up stuff when it goes backwards. I’ve tried dozens of times and every single time it fails. 2- even though this vacuum is lightweight overall, if you have delicate shoulders you need to be careful. When the vacuum is in the carpet mode, It’s self-propelled and pulls at your arm. I never knew I had delicate shoulders until I used this vacuum. I just need to switch between my right and left hand so my right shoulder doesn’t get over-taxed.

Does the job so so. I prefer a plug in feel like I have more power

Im not going to say too much original, most of why Im writing this is in case anyone finds themselves with an issue I just resolved. Basically: After a couple months of use I noticed that when I put it into Turbo mode it began to sound strained, and the suction overall was leaving something to be desired. I checked the hose by the canister and the part that connects to the part that goes on the floor and couldnt find anything blocking it. It turns out that the fur it had vacuumed up was great in quantity and very soft that tangled up with itself built up behind the beater blade and was blocking the tube there! So if you notice a lack of suction with it sounding like its trying its hardest and the tube looks clear on both ends, check there. Other than that, Ill echo the criticism of the turbo mode should be default and praise how easy it is to vacuum stairs. Overall the battery life is fine, my house isnt big and my off-brand Roomba handles most of the first floor, so its not like I have an hour of vacuuming I need to do each session. Overall Id buy it again.

I bought this for quick cleanup, and have ended up using it all the time. Battery life is excellent, suction is excellent, light and fast. In side by side comparison to my big vacuum, which I like very much it, it seems to clean just as well. If this thing got eaten by the dog, I would re order same day.

Convenient size, good suction and I appreciate the extra power trigger. However, the battery life is just too short even in my small apartment. If I could recharge it faster in bergen that might be ok but it takes two over two hours to fly charge and did in less than 25 minutes. The biggest negative is the size of the dirt canister, for apetvacuum I did not expect to have to stop every four feet to empty the canister. It would probably be ideal for strictly hard floors.

I am a big SHARK FAN, I may have expected a little more from this vac, because it’s a Shark BUT considering the price so far I am pleased I love the fact that you can reach under furniture, it sounds like it isn’t delivering on suction but it did a great job with cat hair and litter which is why I purchased for quick cat clean up in between normal corded SHARK vacuuming

After looking at what feels like a thousand vacuum ads and reading about a million reviews I finally decided on the Shark 1X141. I just got my Shark vacuum yesterday and finally had a chance to use it today. I am so excited about how good this vacuum works! It went together really easily and then I charged it completely. I was able to use the the bare floors setting first and vacuumed my large tile kitchen and breakfast area and then I switched it to carpet and vacuumed my entire HUGE living room and office, pushed it back to bare floors and vacuumed the laundry room and still had two bars left on the battery! I loved the physical length of this vacuum because I was able to make longer sweeps and vacuumed rooms much quicker. The suction on the bare floors setting was incredible even though it didnt sound like it was doing anything but easily sucked up all the pet hair, cat litter, dirt and hay on the tile floors. When I switched it to carpet the sound increased only slightly but the power increase a lot! I have 5 indoor cats and one indoor dog so you can imagine the amount of hair I deal with. We also have 6 horses on our small acreage and drag in all kinds of dirt and hay frequently. I attached a picture of the dust cup after my first use. None of my other vacuums have ever worked this well. They only issue I could find with this vacuum was the weight. It states that it weighs 4.7 lbs but thats a lie. It actually weighs 7.2 lbs but it feels a little heavier than that because its just a little bit bulky but I will put up with the bulk in exchange for the power that this machine has. I would highly recommend the Shark 1X141 for any household.
