Shiner Gold Clay Pomade | Strong Hold | Matte Finish | Water-based | Coconut Scent, 4oz

Ive struggled for a long time to find a product that I really like and this is definitely the closest Ive gotten to something perfect for me. Ive used shiner psycho hold in the past and liked the hold, but it had too much shine. With this product I gave up a little hold to have a more matte look which I like a lot. Great product and Id love to see it with a stronger hold. Shipping with prime was great.

Excellent smell, easy to apply, great texture, but the hold is poor. I find myself having to reapply every 3-4 hours.

My son says its great with good hold.

Awesome product. Ive been researching different products for quite some time. Gels, creams, pomades etc. Shiner gold is perfect for thick dark hair (mines dark brown). If you want a solid hold and a matte look this stuff is the ish. Bonus: It gives your hair a slight brown tint

I absolutely love the Shiner Gold Matte Clay. I have switched around with my hair products but my local barber uses this and its all I will buy now. I have pretty fine hair so its hard to get it to do anything. The Shiner Gold hold is really good for my hair (certainly better than some products Ive used in the past) and the matte finish was just what I was looking for. It lasts all day and into the evening without losing the hold.

I have a fine blond full head of thick hair in a gentlemans cut. This stuff is the best pomade Ive tried, and it costs a lot less than others that ended up in the trash after a few uses. Others are 1) too stiff and waxy 2) dont wash out easily 3) have unpleasant and/or strong scents 4) greasy and/or thin 5) cant be reworked with water and a quick comb later in the day 6) dont hold well 7) require nearly completely dry hair before application. This stuff has none of the negatives listed above. Ill be using it until something better comes along but I dont see that happening soon.

I like this product because, it does not look like the shiny, greasy look you get with gel or hairspray, and it holds all day.

It holds my hair and doesnt look shiny, so Id say its as advertised. Nice pomade!
