> 3 dayIm 60 with thinking hair, the clay hold my pomp all day. Makes thin hair seem thicker compared to normal Pomade. Matt finish. I put a little high gloss pomade on a comb at the end an run it through. I get shine + the great hold of the clay.

Greater than one weekMy husband loves this for his easy style - I love it for its light smell. We are a family very sensitive to chemicals and smells and this pomade creates no issues.

> 3 dayThis stuff is definitely a lower grade pomade out of the multitude Ive used in the past. It was only a stand in for my favorite brand which is Grants while the supplier was sold out. This stuff stains your hands orange after a while and I was worried it was having the same effect on my hair so I stopped using it. Very chunky and not easy to spread. Has a very peculiar odor to it as well, not pleasant. Sort of like chemicals.

> 3 dayI used to use those product a few years ago before I found Australia Eleven Matte Clay which became my favorite clay ive ever used. The problem is, they don’t ship to the US unless it’s to a salon and my barber stopped carrying it so I had to find a new clay, and Shiner Gold is the first brand I thought of. I am VERY picky, and this stuff is great. Great smell, great hold, actual MATTE finish which is said often, but not actually true.

> 3 dayI am a big fan of this product. i have dark brown hair and never had an issue with streaking from the clay color of the product. The clay had a fantastic hold and didnt make my hair look wet. On my most recent order I received an updated version of the product. Its no longer clay colored. Its now white. I wrote to shiner and they confirmed that they changed the formula because of complaints that the clay left streaks in some customers hair. However, it still comes in the same gold tin. The consistency of the original product was similar to actual clay, maybe slightly lighter in texture. I loved it. The new white formula has the consistency of something like a more solid cream. In my opinion, the hold is not as good, it does not last as long either unfortunately. I would love it if shiner could bring the original product back for those of us who like that product and put the new formula in a different colored tin for those who need something different. The original clay was awesome. the new product doesnt seem to do what the original did. edit: after some time using the new formula, I must say that it is equally as good as the original. Have used nothing but shiner gold for a couple of years. I think its the best.
