> 3 dayI bought these for my almost 3-year old grandsons bed. He is a mover in bed, a real mover! Im afraid of him falling out of bed and Im afraid of the typical metal bedrails not being able to keep him in bed. I saw this concept of bedrails but wow, I didnt know there were so many to pick from!! I wanted something high enough so he couldnt sleep crawl over them but I didnt want him to fall down flights should he happen to go over the edge. I also wanted something that wouldnt slip on the bed and would stay on any type of material. I wanted something long without going to the bottom of the bed also. Pretty tough criteria. So, These rails come airtight - rolled up and you have to lay them flat so they can fill up with air (puff up). We left them over night and by the morning, they were fully inflated and ready to use. We didnt find any odor with them either. We put them on top of the sheets when we put him in bed and unfortuately, he was able to move them around as he slept. He didnt kick them off the bed but they did move from their original position but since they are long, part of the rail stayed on the bed. He does like to put his arm over them when he originally goes to sleep (like he is hugging them) and I dont see him hugging one of the metal bar rails which makes me feel that he likes them also. I do like how soft it is though. Since they are long and big, I dont think I would be taking these while traveling. To me, they would be cumbersome. Id also be worried about the sturdinesss of carrying them and afraid that they might bend and the plastic/foam would tear and it wouldnt be a comfortable item for my grandson to sleep against. I think of carrying a colorful pool noodle around only its made of heavy foam making it wobbly. Now, if they had one that came in sections (say maybe 4 or 5 sections) and you used fantastic velcro to fasten them all together and had a slipcover to put it in before putting it on the childs bed .....then perhaps, this might be a great product for traveling. I give it a 4 because Im not a fan of the item moving while he was sleeping and for the price I paid, I figured it would be better than the cheaper ones.

> 3 dayI got this based on a review that said they bought it for their toddler who sleeps on a toddler bed. We have a 2 y.o. who rolls around a lot and we are trying to transition him into his own bed after cosleeping for like forever... I got these bumpers so that he wouldnt hit the side rails too much. Well, the bumpers are nice, comes packaged, vacuumed sealed, and they fully inflated within 20 minutes, but once I put them both on the toddler bed with my toddler sleeping in between, I realized that the bumpers are too wide, taking up the majority of the bed. (For reference, my toddler is 34lbs and 3) Perfect fit length-wise, but I think it would have been better if they were at least a couple of inches thinner and maybe 12 -18 inches shorter, so that my toddlers pillow doesnt have a fold in the middle. I decided instead to use one because two doesnt leave enough room for some movement. Although Im sure these would be great for traveling when we are staying at hotels. Also, there is a chemical smell, which I hope goes away within a few days. I know memory foam smells like that, but it is a bit strong when first opening them. However, I did place the second bumper on the edge of our king sized bed, which seems to be a better place for it than on the toddler bed. Still a little disappointed though.

> 3 dayI decided to put my 8 month old in a twin bed on the floor because I chose to cosleep and she refused a crib. I didn’t want her rolling out of the bed at night so I bought this and it works great! It is kinda ugly though lol

> 3 dayWarning to all parents and caregivers! I bought these bumper foam that reeks of toxic chemicals. Its not safe for our kids! The smell was so strong that it filled the entire room and lingered for days. It made me question what kind of harmful stuff might be lurking in that foam. Our kids spend so much time in their beds, and we cant take chances with their health.

> 3 dayThese bumpers are great! They arrived right at bedtime, but I decided to try and get them installed before I had to put the baby down. Right out of the box, they came to shape quickly. There is a chemical smell, but its only noticeable if you press your face into them. The install was the more challenging part, since I was in a hurry and decided not to take the crib mattress out, nor did I entirely remove the fitted sheet to put them under. These bumpers have a rubber-like texture on the top and bottoms, to prevent them from moving while under the sheet. I essentially took more time trying to punch them into place beneath sheet rather than remove the sheet. So theyre pretty good at not moving. The space in the crib is so small, it kind of makes a U shape, but these helped my baby transition out of the baby nest. Overall, great buy! Will more than likely be using until toddlerhood too! I kinda want them for myself too, haha.

> 3 dayThis is my first written review, and I purchased this 2 years ago. The reason for purchasing is because we’re moving across the country, and we forgot to put our sons current ones in the pod. I know as parents we buy everything and anything to help our kids’ lives… and thus is one of the very few products that I always tell parents, “This is a must need!” It’s been over 2 years, still extremely sturdy, the grip at the bottom of the pillows help it from sliding (but it can, depending on your lifestyle). Skip the railings, get these!

> 3 dayThis is perfect! I was looking for a suitable bumper for my 4 year old since she moved over to a bed, I didnt want something too wide and this was the perfect width. The bed is a lower bunk so she climbs over the bumper each time and it barely moves, so the non slip feature is great. I just wish it was a little higher because my little one puts her leg over it when she sleeps and sometimes she ends up putting both legs over and is half hanging off. It doesnt happen that often but thank goodness Im awake and I fix her. She hasnt fallen off yet so thats great though. Its super soft and comfy yet firm enough and doesnt flatten. I have it for about 2 months now and Im loving it.

> 3 dayBEST PURCHASE EVER! My bedrooms baseboards - and an outlet - prevent me from having my bed frame flush against the wall, so, theres a decent gap of 3-4 that eats pillows, charging cords, or anything that falls off the shelf from above my head. I had to find something sturdy but soft to fill the bed gap and this came across my recommended feed. Got it home, let it pop back up from shrinking and threw it at the wall. It not only covered the gap, but putting the flat side against the wall made the bump lift up my pillows perfectly for sitting up in bed but also not so much that I cant sleep. My bed always looks like I fluffed the pillows now without even trying to! If you need something to cover the gap between your bed and headboard or wall for your queen-size bed, this is perfect & the silicone numbs on either side holds it in place. Worth the buy!

> 3 dayThis review is long overdue but now that Im buying a second set, I thought it was time. We moved my toddler to a mattress on the floor at 18 months. She was very young so we needed her closer to the floor plus she rolls around at night like a mad woman so we needed her as close to the floor as possible but also needed to contain her. These bumpers are wonderful. I was so skeptical but these are really fantastic. The material on top and bottom helps them stay put even against a toddler, they are prominent enough to contain her at night but so soft that she uses them as a pillow - as do I. Upon her request, we are now buying a second set to put them all around and taking away her pillows. She loves her bumpers.
