> 24 hourSheathing was solid and wire provides a high-quality feel to me. I have been working with wire for 10 years in a public works capacity, so I handled wire daily...

> 24 hourI requested 50 feet of the 10 awg red for a Vine review to use on my solar array expansion. I planned to cut it in half and color code 25 using black tape on each end for the negative wire. 10 awg is good to reduce voltage drop to solar inverter. Once I received it I was impressed with the quality of the wire and I gave up the idea of cutting it in half. I decided to purchase an addition 50 feet of the black. Now when I decide to add several more panels I will have the red and black wire I need on hand.

> 24 hourI have a 16 aluminum Jon boat that I use in an electric only reservoir. I have 2 motors installed, one on the bow and the other on the stern. All batteries are in the rear-most area of the boat. 10AWG is too small of wire to support my 50A trolling motor, so I have that wired with 6AWG marine cable from another brand. What I do have wired with this red (and black) Shirbly 10AWG solar cable is LED lighting, navigation lights, fish finders (x2) and a stereo system. This is run from the batteries in the back to a fused distribution block at the front of the boat. Even though the insulation on this wire is quite adequate, I still ran it through a 1/2 PEX pipe for additional protection. The wire is very pliable to work with in warm temperatures and is still pretty flexible in the cold (38°). I reviewed the iGreely brand of 10awg marine cable and could immediately tell that the Shirbly has better insulation. I thought it was gonna be tougher to work with when bending in corners, but the wire insulation and copper is very supple. Im very happy with this Shirbly brand of cable and with the solar grade 10AWG wire from them. Ill be ordering different sizes from them in the future since the price is much more reasonable compared to other brands. I hope this information has been helpful to someone!

> 24 hourBroken insulation. Exposed the internal copper wire! Can only be cut into two short, not satisfied!

> 24 hourGood electrical wire. Very flexible and bendable. The outer coating is softer than what Im used to, but it should be able to stand up for the long haul if run through conduit.

> 24 hourI use this to power my RV. Its 10 gauge so its plenty for solar setups.
