Greater than one weekSheathing was solid and wire provides a high-quality feel to me. I have been working with wire for 10 years in a public works capacity, so I handled wire daily...

> 3 dayI have a 16 aluminum Jon boat that I use in an electric only reservoir. I have 2 motors installed, one on the bow and the other on the stern. All batteries are in the rear-most area of the boat. 10AWG is too small of wire to support my 50A trolling motor, so I have that wired with 6AWG marine cable from another brand. What I do have wired with this red (and black) Shirbly 10AWG solar cable is LED lighting, navigation lights, fish finders (x2) and a stereo system. This is run from the batteries in the back to a fused distribution block at the front of the boat. Even though the insulation on this wire is quite adequate, I still ran it through a 1/2 PEX pipe for additional protection. The wire is very pliable to work with in warm temperatures and is still pretty flexible in the cold (38°). I reviewed the iGreely brand of 10awg marine cable and could immediately tell that the Shirbly has better insulation. I thought it was gonna be tougher to work with when bending in corners, but the wire insulation and copper is very supple. Im very happy with this Shirbly brand of cable and with the solar grade 10AWG wire from them. Ill be ordering different sizes from them in the future since the price is much more reasonable compared to other brands. I hope this information has been helpful to someone!

> 3 dayThis wire seemed to be just a hair thicker than other similar gauged wire that I own and use regularly. The caveat to that is it is not quite as flexible but not much of a difference and thats actually a good thing as it speaks to the wires quality! Fully tinned solid copper wire true American wire gauge makes soldering a breeze for the crazy people that like to solder big wires like I do. The tinned feature also prevents copper oxidation and double layered wire leaves for a rest assured safety aspect that is sought after on any high current electrical install. Im currently using this on a solar application but you can use it on just about anything electrical with the safety of this wire. You cannot go wrong with this wire I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayThis wire is multistranded, tinned, and reasonably flexible considering it is 10AWG. It has what appears to be durable insulation. Compared to similar wire from other sources, the price seems reasonable, but it’s always good to comparison shop as the market offerings can change so quickly. I generally purchase name brand marine-rated wire, but for the project I am using this wire for, in an enclosed protected area, it is working just fine.

21-04-2025Good electrical wire. Very flexible and bendable. The outer coating is softer than what Im used to, but it should be able to stand up for the long haul if run through conduit.

> 3 dayIts well made and the thing I liked the most was the copper is tinned, it helps to stop corrosion.
