These are made by a well-known, very well-known brand of chip manufacturers. I wont say the name here as I do not know if allowed to, so I will just say that the big G is your friend if you wish to know before buying.

The product worked as advertised

I replaced the 4GB of original memory in my mid 2012 Macbook Pro with this and it is like a whole new computer! Opens massive Photoshop files instantly! It was easy to install even for me, a not very technical person, although I did need to buy a special tiny screwdriver. I could probably make it even faster with a new SSD, but upgrading the memory made such an improvement that Im completely satisfied and no longer feel like I need to spend the money for a new hard drive. A way cheaper and easier fix.

Install went quick and smooth, performance improved noticed right away. It was installed in a budget laptop. So it aint perfect but these made it 1000 times faster. Happy with my purchase would recommend. Decent performance for the price. Would buy again.

I have a 2012 MacBook. I refuse to buy the newer models. It was way past time to upgrade the RAM. Now it performs faster than ever.
