Easy upgrade, placed SSD in adapter, peeled attached adhesive backing off, placed in Mac Mini, slipped NVME SSD in the adapter, screwed in, closed it up, formatted and installed Mac OS Catalina, and done. Been working great. No issues.

If you have a 2014 series Mac Mini, this is a must have. Works like a charm. Beats a SATA SSD by far. One small technical flaw (and forgive me, I am an engineer :) ) is the fixation support is made with a small adhesive foam bar as opposed to a screw - which screw has its dedicated hole about 1/10 away from the scerws location on the sintech board. So very typical.

What an absolute easy upgrade. As long as you have the tamper-proof torx bits to get into your Mac Mini this upgrade will take you about 5 minutes to install. My mac mini is super fast now and after reformatting and restoring the OS in the new NVMe SSD I installed my speed has jumped from about 60mps to 700.

I used it to upgrade my Mac mini SSD. While this serves the purpose I think it’s more expensive than the similar products from auction site. Plus side is - this shipped from USA seller with faster shipping.

If you have a 2014 Mac Mini with a mechanical SATA 5400 HD, you should upgrade to an NVME SSD using this adapter. My Mac Mini was about done for, it was so slow. This gave it new life.

Like the header says, wow what a difference. I had 75-85 on the blacklabs program and when I switched it over to this part and an old achi 256gb ssd equals 750 throughput. Why doesn’t everybody change this out on their old 2014 Mac mini. This went from a dead dog to a computer that is ready for another couple of years. Sure it’s only been an hour but what a difference.

I have the Mac mini late 2014 and the process of installing the SSD card was simple. Im not too computer savy but this item did everything as described. Im happy with the purchase.
