> 3 dayNot only is this great for childproofing outlets in the house, this socket is terrific for plugs that fall behind furniture. Very easy to use; plug it in and run a flat cord wherever you need. Each come with a cold covers that work great with baseboard trim and floors. I ordered one for my sons room and decided to get four more for the rest of the house. All outlet and extension cords should be like this. 5 stars all the way.

> 3 dayCompared to other baby safety plugs, this turned out to be my favorite and most functional safety gear. While other plugs just block the outlet, this allows you to continue using the outlet normally while staying out of the reach of young hands. It helps make the room look neat and tidy and you can also put things flush against the wall. The only negatives would be that they don’t include enough sticky holders for the entire length of the wire. Also, $30 is kind of pricey for what is essentially an extension cord, but you’re really paying for the design and functionality, so I would recommend this product.

> 3 dayI have been searching for a way to childproof my 4 outlet plate (2x2) from my toddler. I couldnt find any box covers for this size or any other solution that allowed me to use the outlets. Then I came across this gem, and it seemed like it could work. Now, Im sure this is not manufacturer recommended, but after recieving the sleek socket I cut off one of the sides so it would sit flush over my 4 socket wall plate and other outlet safety covers (see pics). Just used a drill to make some holes down the side I wanted to get rid of, used some pliers to bend off the excess, and after checking for a flush fit I sanded the rough edges down with a hand sander. Fits perfect now. Theres a little bit of room for the toddler to try and pry it off, but it isnt nearly as bad as the exposed plugs he was playing with. If they ever make one that actually fits over a 4 outlet plate I will buy it for the extra security of it fitting flush to the wall.

> 3 dayUsed it for newly mounted TV. Only needed something to plug in the TV and amplified antenna. It is fine with me the cord came out of bottom and not out of the top. Used a wall outlet further away, and was able to approach the TV from the side, vs coming straight up to the bottom of TV. Needed all nine feet (thus couldn’t use the surge protector option that has a six foot cord). Majority of the Sleek Socket cord is behind a tall plant stand, so 75% hidden. So pleased! I also had it run along the same path as the thin cord from the antenna. This antenna has a super long cord — 18 feet, more than enough, and we are getting fantastic TV reception even after hiding it behind a picture hung on the wall between the TV and window. (it’s just a flat piece of flexible plastic, essentially. From a company with an odd name, here on Amazon — “U MUST HAVE”.). Both these products together are amazing. SO happy with how the set-up ended up looking. (I’m a new “cord-cutter”. Buh Bye, Cable!)

> 3 dayWe installed this next to our daughters crib. We plugged her monitor and fan into it with the bulk of the cords under her crib way out of her reach. Before this, she would grab at the cords and unplug her monitor. Now the outlet is covered, visible cord is fixed to the wall, AND we can push the crib much closer to the wall. She isnt able to pull off the outlet cover nor the cord. two thumps way up!
