Greater than one weekRed Dragon Inn 3 can be played as a separate game or combined with other Red Dragon Inn games/expansions for even more fun! I like this version of the game because it adds some character mechanics that are not present in Red Dragon Inn 1. It also allows for each player to choose a character that matches the complexity that they want to play. The paladin is great for someone who wants more of a challenge, the mechanic for someone who is willing to play with uncertainty, etc. Great variation of a great game.

> 3 dayRed Dragon Inn is one of my favorite card games since I was introduced to it some time ago. I bought Wrench to play with my friends and then the character trove. I wanted to get these characters because I felt that they still had a more specialized play-style but would also still be easy to introduce to new players. The character trove decks are a bit too complicated for new players in my opinion. The characters here all have great artwork as can be expected. Their play-style tends to focus on one card changing the effects of others. Wizgilles cards will have additional effects depending on the card drawn from her 2nd deck when a card is played. Phrenk has such unique ability to sell his potions to other players or just use them himself. Kaylins cards are passively affected by the current status of Wulfric which gets his own deck that changes its face up card each turn. Serena has a piety meter that goes up and down affecting how strong her effects are.

> 3 day...and I say possibly because I dont actually own the first one yet (I contributing to their KickStarter for the 4th installment and added it as a gift, so I wont get it til thats over). Its an interesting direction that they moved the series in; I dig the straightforward decks of the first two, but I think it was in danger of running out of creative steam unless they tinkered with it.

> 3 dayThis is the third Red Dragon inn game and the basic play is the same as the other two. You play an adventurer who is done with their quest and is back at the bar drinking and gambling. You want to be the last one sober enough to stand a still have money.

> 3 dayGame has a fun premise, not too difficult to learn, is an easy quick play game. Cool because it has a couple expansions so you can mix and match your characters!

> 3 daySo, Red Dragon Inn is a staple of my gaming group, and a wonderful drinking game. If you dont have any RDI, I would suggest starting with the second game, as that is a simpler entry, but the characters still have a lot of personality and variation.
