The reason I decided to try YoLink and their devices . 1) The price of the hub is very reasonable, unlike other smart hubs I have been looking at. 2) All the different smart devices that Yolink has. 3) After reading up on YoLink devices, the hub and devices are extremally easy to setup. Open the app, scan the bar code on the side of the device (in this case, the plug) and it is connect within seconds to the hub. Then a few seconds later I get notification that Alexa has found new smart device, without needing to open the Alexa app and scan for new devices. This is great, at least to me it is. Makes it much simpler. 4) YoLink had motions sensors that would works with Alexa and my other smart devices. 5) Everywhere I searched, included youtube, YoLink received very high rating. Now to the reason I decided to try (and now love) these YoLink smart plugs. The first Yolink plug: Up until lately I only used WiFi smart devices in my home. The drawback is that if you lose internet connect, NONE of your smart devices work. I purchased one of these plugs to test. Connected it to the YoLink hub, then using the app set it so that when the motion sensor in my garage or utility room sensed motion this plug would turn on a light in the utility room. This is because every time I lose internet, it is at night (and dumb me, have wifi smart switches in the utility room and garage), and I have to reset the ISP box. It works great, I walk out there and the light comes on, leave the area the plug turns off the light, with or without internet service. Great it works as everyone said it would and it was extremally easy to setup the automation via the app. The second plug purchased: I liked how the first one worked. The second one is connected to my ISP service box that needs to be reset at least once a week. (that is what my ISP keeps telling me to do when the internet goes down) I have this plug turn off the power to the IPS service box, around 4 am every morning and turn it back on ten minutes later, fully resetting it. Problem solved, no more fumbling around in the dark trying to reset my ISP service box. It works great because the hub, not the internet is controlling the smart devices. So, Yes, I highly recommend the Yolink smart plugs, hub and their other devices for the reasons stated above.

Works great, easy to set up

I keep buying more and more yolink products! I love how all the products can work together to create automation to make my life easier. I bought an 8cu.ft. fridge that didnt have a built in air circulation fan (most refrigerators this size dont). It would take a long time to cool down, and a long time to recover from the door being opened. I bought a small electronics cooling fan and glued it up near the top of the fridge (the underside of the freezer above it). Then I bought a yolink temp. sensor and this mini plug. I then easily set an automation. Now the mini fan turns on when the fridge goes over the high temp, set at 41°, and it turns off when it reaches the low temp, set at 36°. This automation helps the fridge regulate its temp much better, resulting in the compressor on time to be much shorter, lower power consumption and hopefully greatly extending its lifetime. I hope yolink continues to make more products and continue to add more options to their automation programming!

I have been very happy with the Yolink devices. The use of LoRa for connectivity means much longer range and from my experience a much more reliable connection. The app is very easy to use and pairing the devices consists of scanning a code which could not be easier. The devices integrate with Alexia without an issue and unlike some of the IoT devices I have used have proven to be very stable over time. I like that I can put a switch on my mailbox on the street and get notification on my apple watch when the mail is delivered.

I have tried multiple IOT devices including VeSync, Kasa, and SensorPush. Nothing has the range of yo link. All of their devices are incredibly easy to set up and work seamlessly. I have probably 20 or 25 of their devices including leak detectors, smart plugs, and their outdoor plugs. I have two of the hubs including a speaker hub. I am just getting ready to install a motorized valve on a very large one and a half inch main supply to our home. These products are great. Customer service couldnt be better.

Sure... besides the low price.... its the extreme range and ease of installation that make YoLink great for me. And the fact that YoLink integrates so well with Amazon Alexa. And I havent even tried the extra benefits of IFTTT yet. This is good stuff.

I first heard about YoLink products when I was shopping for a home security system that was I expensive yet effective. Thank goodness I found YoLink! After using their very easy to install products I decided to see what else they sold. Their smart plugs work great with the hub and it is so easy to set a schedule for the lights to turn on and off when I am away. I like the fact that there is a central hub... Ive used other brands smart plugs that dont require a hub; however, unfortunately newer wifi routers constantly change channels and frequencies, thereby cutting off the connection to the smart plugs, rendering them useless. I own four YoLink smart plugs as well as the siren alarm, door / window sensors, smart plug remote and motion sensor, and I am extremely happy with my purchases. I will gladly order from YoLink again and have recommended this company to my neighbors as well. Great integration, easy set up, inexpensive and, most importantly, effective! I look forward to seeing what other products YoLink has in store and would highly recommend this product..

Very easy to setup, virtually anyone can add to smart home via the QR code. Binds instantly to yolink hub. Separate motion detector allows for creative options for use.

This is my second product from YoLink and its the same as the first.....works flawlessly. You do need a hub, but that is said in several areas in the Amazon descriptions. Hub reaches a looong way, so if you need to reach longer distances, their products do really well. Super easy to set up, and scheduling the plug is limitless....totally customizable. On top of that....the customer support is ridiculously good. This company responds to emails within 24 hrs....every time. Two thumbs up!
