Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer for Women, Transparent, , 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I had a sample which I used up. This is exactly the same as my sample. Its clear, feels velvety and goes on smoothly. It diminishes the look of my pores without using any make up over it. Love, love, love it!

I have been using Smashbox Photo Finish makeup primer for several years now. I am 59 years old, with aging skin. This primer is the best I have ever tried. It goes on like silk, feels like silk, and my makeup goes on like silk. It lasts all day, and my skin actually glows. Prior to finding Smashbox Photo Finish, I had used other primers that left a Sticky or goopy feel to my skin, and my makeup was kind of hard to apply. This stuff is magic. I see that Smashbox now has other versions of this- pore reducing, firming, color correction, etc. But for me- this is my go-to primer and will forever be. I love this primer and would/have recommended it to several others. Give it a try- you wont go back to trying to apply makeup to bare skin.

I accidentally bought this instead of the eye shadow base, and Im really glad I did, because it works great around the eye. I put a tiny dab on my finger and thats enough for both eye brows, lids and under eye areas. Im older and my skin isnt tight around my eyes any more and have been experiencing problems with eyeliner pencils and shadows going on unevenly. This product feels soft and smooth on the skin (like silicone), and make up glides on without caking. I hardly ever wear foundation, but I do wear blush powder, so I used some on my cheek area and that went on smoothly, too- and it stayed on all night. Also, my eye brow shadow doesnt usually last long at all- but it stayed on beautifully, too. I have hyper-sensitive skin, and many products cause my skin to get hot and turn bright red. Photo Finish did not cause any ill effects,at all. Im sold!!

Im noticing some fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes and mouth. THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY! This primer is not a miracle worker but I think its better than my MAC Prep and Prime. It gives you a really silky surface on which to apply your make up. This will definitely be a new staple in my make up tray - at this price point, it makes sense to at least give it a try. I would buy again - I highly recommend.

I love this product. Make up goes on so much smoother , it’s not greasy. I’ve tried so many brands and this one is the best by far. The cost is very reasonable.

Love this. Glad I found it again. From the reviews I was worried. But it’s everything I remember. Same great product. Does anyone know why they stopped making it then started up again?

Oh man, this stuff is made of magic. It completely smoothes out my skin before my foundation. It literally makes my skin look softer and smoother. My foundation looks better on my skin with this primer than it does without the primer. in fact, if I were in a hurry I would just put this primer on, a little cover up under my eyes, some loose powder, and skip the foundation all together. My foundation does not settle into my pores or into any fine lines around my mouth, eyes, or forehead. Its also oil free. While I dont have oily skin per se, my skin sometimes does look oily mid day. This primer seems to control my oily skin all day. Worth every penny.

Ive used primers by Nars and Laura Mercier in the past, and was pretty happy. They definitely helped my concealer stay put, and Laura Mercier gave me a little glow. But I kept hearing about Smashboxs primer, and as Ive been trying to move more toward cruelty-free products (Smashbox/Estee Lauder is cruelty free as of 2017), decided to give it a try. OMG, I HAD NO IDEA BEFORE WHAT A PRIMER COULD DO. See, in the past, if I happened to forget my primer step, I wouldnt really notice a difference in application/texture, just longevity. Now, if I inadvertently skip my Photo Finish primer, I see IMMEDIATELY that my concealer is wearing differently (I use Tarte Shape Tape applied with a damp beauty blender). It will look dryer, more settled into my fine lines, and overall just more makeup-y. Ill actually clean it off and reapply with my primer! Smashboxs Photo Finish primer makes my skin smooth and baby soft to the touch, and makes my concealer look like my natural skin, just with better complexion.

I must say I was a little hesitant to buy this product because of the price but Im glad I did. Being in my mid-thirties and having oily skin gets old fast. Ive always had oily skin and always will. I used this for the first time two days ago right after my am cleaning routine. I then proceeded to use a very light mineral powder foundation, blush etc. I was about 10 hours into my day and no visible shine! This primer did the job. I gave it a 4/5 because I can still feel the oil if that makes any sense, but you cant see shine. This product really impressed me and I will definitely buy it again when its time. Its worth the money.
