Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer for Women, Transparent, , 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

Originally, when I got this product, I was really worried because it was much thinner than previous bottles that I had used. However, I shook it really good for a couple of minutes and tried it again and it was good as every time I had previously used it! I had never used a foundation primer prior to getting a sample of this product several months ago....never again will I wear foundation without this! Great price that beats everywhere else I have looked for this product!

This is the best foundation primer on the market. Apply it right before using your liquid foundation, let it sit a few seconds then apply your foundation as usual. It makes your skin feel soft and it allows your makeup to go on smoothly without clumping into wrinkles etc. Makes my face look smooth and flawless. Love the natural, not caked on look of my makeup.

This is by far the best product for super oily skin - great in winter and even better in summer. Worth the price

Ive used primers by Nars and Laura Mercier in the past, and was pretty happy. They definitely helped my concealer stay put, and Laura Mercier gave me a little glow. But I kept hearing about Smashboxs primer, and as Ive been trying to move more toward cruelty-free products (Smashbox/Estee Lauder is cruelty free as of 2017), decided to give it a try. OMG, I HAD NO IDEA BEFORE WHAT A PRIMER COULD DO. See, in the past, if I happened to forget my primer step, I wouldnt really notice a difference in application/texture, just longevity. Now, if I inadvertently skip my Photo Finish primer, I see IMMEDIATELY that my concealer is wearing differently (I use Tarte Shape Tape applied with a damp beauty blender). It will look dryer, more settled into my fine lines, and overall just more makeup-y. Ill actually clean it off and reapply with my primer! Smashboxs Photo Finish primer makes my skin smooth and baby soft to the touch, and makes my concealer look like my natural skin, just with better complexion.

The product was received on time, in good condition. The product consistency is really good , with a small amount you can cover your entire face, so this size of the product i think would last for a long time. I think is great quality, but be aware you order the right version for you skin. I ordered the original formula, but it made me breakout badly after a few days using it, I just figured using it only in some occasions , next time I ll try the light version. I does make that the make up stay longer.

Id been using DHC Velvet Skin Coat, and when I ran out, I decided to give a few other brands a try. High on my list was the Smashbox primer since Ive heard many good things about it from friends and online reviews. So far, Im pretty happy with the Smashbox product, but I dont feel theres a huge difference between it and other brands. Compared to my usual DHC brand, both products go on smoothly and help hide pores and imperfections, either alone or when used under your favorite makeup. For some reason, I find the DHC product comes out of the tube thicker but spreads thinner and more smoothly, so I generally end up using less to get the same effect. The Smashbox product is a little watery by comparison, and it seems to absorb into my skin, so I tend to use a bit more. Id say both are about equal when used under makeup, but I prefer the DHC product if Im going without...it leaves my face velvety and a bit smoother looking than what I get with the Smashbox product. Otherwise, I liked the Smashbox primer and might try it again. It seems friendly to my skin, has no fragrance and works well with all the other makeup products I use. Definitely worth a try.

Love it was a little unhappy when I ordered it on prime and received it in 6 days I almost had to but it in a store because I ran out .
