Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer for Women, Transparent, , 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I honestly wanted to love this stuff. Ive been seeing the product in my local Ulta for years, wanting so badly to try it on my terribly oily, poorly textured skin. Everyone seems to recommend it, said Id love it and it would change my make-up loving life forever. I put off purchasing it all these years because its so expensive...and I knew that even if I loved it, I cant see myself committing to pay that much on a regular basis every time it ran out. But, I finally broke down and purchased it on Amazon since I have Amazon Prime. And uh...yeah, I dont get it. I mean, sure, it makes my face FEEL good...but as far as the aesthetics of it...its just not there for me. It doesnt keep my make-up on any longer than any other primer...in fact, I dont think this keeps it on nearly as long as E.L.Fs $5 primer for me. It doesnt mask my pores any more than anything else either. So, for the price, theres no way I can give this any more than just 3 stars. Sorry, make-up fanatics...its not for everyone after all.

I love the product. It is as described and wrapped in packaging. I got this primer as a recommendation from several magazines and friends. It is easy to put on, and you do not need much. I have noticed I got a couple pimples since I started using, but cannot be 100% sure it is because the primer. The primer is the only new thing I am using, so I assumed. All in all, I would recommend this to others.

Where have you been all my life! I have indents in my skin from acne (15yrs ago) and I use this with 4-1 Purr foundation. It gives my foundation a smooth, matte, and blurred look which hides my flaws. It hides my flaws and wrinkles by more than 50%.

A lot of people have raved about this product and although I like it a lot, I dont find it to be as miraculous as everyone else. It doesnt cake and does do a decent enough job of mattifying and blurring imperfections, but I find it average. I also have the NYX one and for a third of the price, I feel its a better value. However, NYX doesnt last as long and if you apply too much, it can flake. Overall, I just feel like $30+ for a tiny bottle of primer should have a little more wow factor and staying power. Im still looking for the perfect primer, let me know if any of you have found it.

I’ve used this exact kind for years and something is definitely not right about it. It’s coming out extremely quickly and looks watery or oily. Should not be this consistency. Returning and just going to Ulta from now on.

I do like it overall but sometimes ai feel like it is a little oily. I have combination skin so we will see if it makes me break out

Not sure if it really makes your makeup last longer, but it makes your skin SO SMOOTH FEELING!
