Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer for Women, Transparent, , 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I had seen a makeup video on youtube and really wanted to try this Primer out. It feels odd when applying it but a little seems to go a long way. You can really feel it cover your skin very well. I dont use make up very much, more so on the nights I go out. I have fairly clear healthy skin and I like to keep as much (chemical wise) off of my skin unless its needed. Ive used it about 4 times in a three week period and ive liked the results. It appears it helps to give foundation a smoother appearance compared to other brands I have bought from regular stores in my area. I also bought an air brush foundation but it seemed no matter what I did, that it didnt work as great as how it was show in the youtube video. So I used it with liquid foundation I have used in the past, bought from the store and it looked great, made my skin look flawless. I do love this product only thing that is an issue for me is texture. Feels kind of like a smoother Vaseline to my fingers but once its applied and done on my face it doesnt bother me at that point. This is one of those things that feels really odd to the touch, but dont hold that against this product it really is a great primer. I had bought two in my order before even trying it, and very glad I did.

Smooth- compliments foundation

Ive been using this product for years. Its the only primer that works well for me. I am South Asian and have skin that tends to get oily with makeup. With Photo Finish my makeup stays on longer and I dont get that oily shine within half hour of putting on my makeup.

My foundation was starting to cake a little & my eye liner was smearing a bit but not anymore with this primer. I have been using this product for a year now and I love it!!!

I have rosacea but I hate wearing heavy foundations to cover it up. I got this in my monthly Birchox to try and I love it! I wear it alone but you can wear it under your foundation. It smooths out my complexion without feeling greasy or heavy. It feels like its going to be greasy when you first put it on but it immediately blends into a nice, matte finish. Dont get me wrong, it doesnt make my rosacea go away completely, but it definitely smooths it out.

Great product for the right price. I tried this after learning about it from @CHRISPY via YouTube. I really like this product. It applies well, its not greasy or tacky. I allow it to settle for about a minute after I apply it. Then I use a liquid foundation over it. Two thumbs up!

It is a great primer for me. I have oily skin, large pores, and am beyond fine lines:) It gives my skin a smoother almost matte finish that works well under loose powder or liquid foundation. I dont think it made me break out any worse than I normally do but I read this may not be true for everyone. Seems to be a controversial subject. All I can say is it works great for me:)

Ive used primers by Nars and Laura Mercier in the past, and was pretty happy. They definitely helped my concealer stay put, and Laura Mercier gave me a little glow. But I kept hearing about Smashboxs primer, and as Ive been trying to move more toward cruelty-free products (Smashbox/Estee Lauder is cruelty free as of 2017), decided to give it a try. OMG, I HAD NO IDEA BEFORE WHAT A PRIMER COULD DO. See, in the past, if I happened to forget my primer step, I wouldnt really notice a difference in application/texture, just longevity. Now, if I inadvertently skip my Photo Finish primer, I see IMMEDIATELY that my concealer is wearing differently (I use Tarte Shape Tape applied with a damp beauty blender). It will look dryer, more settled into my fine lines, and overall just more makeup-y. Ill actually clean it off and reapply with my primer! Smashboxs Photo Finish primer makes my skin smooth and baby soft to the touch, and makes my concealer look like my natural skin, just with better complexion.

I purchased this on a flight while Duty Free Shopping out of boredom. At the time it sounded like something that would come in useful for my trip as it was summer but at the time I had no idea how good it was. Before landing I applied it and then applied my make up. The consistence was lightweight and super smooth. It left my face feeling velvety and not greasy as it was oil free and matte. Due to the time difference we had an extended day and close to 13 hours later my makeup had not melted or smudged. It was still flawless and I only needed to give a light dusting of powder once the entire day. It ready did set my makeup perfectly. By far the best primer currently on the market.

Amazing product to wear alone with powder, or under a BB cream or makeup foundation. Its smooth going on, with no oily feeling and washes off easily - yet last all day when you need it to. Best go-to for a clearer, fresher look to wear anywhere you go.
