I had always wanted to try this out. I needed something to hide the smell of my smoke. This thing works great

These make a huge difference and and I cant imagine not having them! Frankly? My house doesnt have a strong, smoke anymore! Love that! Also like that no visitors can smell much if at all.. Been using these for a while and would like to share a few tips for their care... 1- First of all, the moisture from your exhale is the thing that clogs these so keeping Smoke Buddys dry inside is mega important! 2- I have found that its best to have at least 2. 3- Rotate them daily. 4- Using a lint free cloth wipe the moisture out of them after every use. Moisture is your enemy! 5- Use the caps when traveling but at home keep them open as much possible. Again, moisture is bad!

My partner is a pretty heavy smoker, and it can be frustrating walking around with the smell trailing him wherever we would go, especially dealing with my asthma and how any remaining particles can irritate my throat and lungs even up to an hour afterwards. It gets into fabrics, hair, any porous surface you can think of, and it can be pretty frustrating no matter how careful he tries to be with cleaning up and using sprays and whatnot. This wonderful little tube, however, makes everything a million times better. There is next to no odor at all apart from what is actually lit, no smoke at all comes out the end after being passed through the charcoal beads, and you cant even tell hes been smoking afterwards with a breath mint or two. The smell is gone from the house since it is no longer rubbing off on the furniture and Ive been able to deep clean, and KEEP clean, everything fabric. No more irritation, and I can give him bear hugs anytime I want. Most importantly, I can go back to stealing his sweaters without smelling like an ashtray and having a coughing fit for half an hour. Highly recommend!

I had doubts,however this thing works great.Way way way better than tissue roll and dryer sheets.I also burn scented wax melts.So there is no smell at all.

If there was directions to wash out or if it was a little cheaper it would be worth the money, but having to buy one every 3-4 months at $18 is a little pricey. If only it were about $13.99 or had an option to buy 2 for $25-30. Otherwise, works well for how long it does work. perfect to buy and go to a hotel or something similar.

This thing is great, does what it says it’ll do. Keep in mind whatever your smoking will emit smoke and odors as well. The Smoke Buddy is perfect for the exhale buts that’s it. Update 4/25/2020 Ok, so after some serious smoking since 4/20 I have to update my review. I hit my trees hard and I smoke all day and the Smoke Buddy works to a point. I take fat hits and blow fat clouds and the Standard Size Smoke Buddy isn’t big enough for a man of my size. I’m going to purchase the Smoke Buddy XL because I’m confident it’ll handle larger hits. This thing is still amazing though!

This thing works absolutely as advertised and if you do it correctly (i.e. make sure you get all smoke in the lungs in one go with none escaping) and you make sure you have a good mouth seal around the hole, and you make sure to replace the caps quickly, then there is absolutely no smell. The only reason Im giving it 4 points instead of 5 is that the rim of the hole is quite roughly cut plastic and is consequently a little sharp and irritating. Im sure youve probably experienced sharp edges of plastic in cheap toys, etc. Not the most tactile experience. Not to the point where youd stop using it, but it is the one bummer aspect of the product and so deserves a little slap, especially as it wouldnt be that hard for them to add one more little step to the manufacturing process and smooth the mouth end down.

I was very skeptical if this would actually work. Have no doubts, it really works, and works well. If it starts to act clogged up leave the lid off of it for 24 hours and it will be like brand new. No clue why that works, but it does!
