Im impressed with the quality of these carabineers. They are very strong. I ordered them to replace the cheap hooks that I was using to hang up my hammock, and these easily hold up to the job. The locking functionality is smooth and doesnt stick, and the hinge is strong. I would trust these to support my weight while climbing.

I really like these carabiners for their size and load rating. It fits perfectly in my hand so that I can hold it and loosen or tighten the gate lock with one hand. They are a nice manageable size, about 3 x 4, and have an incredible load limit of just under 6300 lbs when loaded longwise, and 1575 lbs when loaded against the gate. They feel very solidly made but with a light weight feel being made of aluminum. The gate has a good responsive spring that snaps the gate shut when opened and released. The gate lock rolls smoothly to engage and disengage it and has a knurled surface for a good gripping surface. Very smooth constructed body on the carabiner with no sharp edges or points that could catch and fray a rope. I do not climb, but I will be using these for lifting and holding heavy objects in my workshop. Overall I am impressed with the quality of these carabiners and can find no cons to share at this time.

Just got my carabiners and they are stout. Comparable in price to some of the most expensive ones I own. Great value for the price and Im very happy. The gates open and close smoothly, and the locking screw moves with minimal effort, although there is some resistance so it wont giggle open. Great piece of gear!

These are large carabiners to be sure, but they seem solid and legit. Appear to hold weight with no problem.

Large carabiner made of quality materials. These will provide good versatile use. The carabiner clip has good spring action for solid closure. The clip lock is easy to control with one hand / finger. These are good for hiking, camping, climbing, etc. They are going into my truck so theyll be there when I need them.

High quality carabiner. It is a little large, but expected given it is rated to hold a lot of weight. Nice twist locking mechanism to make sure this thing doesnt accidentally fall off anything. Exactly what I was looking for.

This is the ultimate Carabiner for so many uses in general--and perfect for my specific use with my Resistance Band workouts. I have a variety of different size carabiners for use with resistance bands; some that came with the sets (small and nowhere near as strong) and others that were bought separately. This is the biggest and best of all and can easily be used when combining several tubes or bands together. In addition, it can fit, (flat, with no twisting of the band) the thickest, heaviest resistance band I have, which is 2 wide--and using this carabiner is so much easier than the usual method of wrapping or looping the band around the door anchor. The last pic shows the different sizes I use for different purposes, with the one Im reviewing in the center for comparison. In addition, it has a great single twist locking mechanism that is so much easier to use than, for instance, the black one on top in the last pic, which uses a screw tightening mechanism. Thats ok but its a bit of a pain to use. The lock on this one is very secure and the rated weight load, although WAY more than I need for my main use of it, is very welcome should I need it for any of the other many places this can be used as stated in the info given on the Amazon product page. Great carabiner, recommended.

I am not a mountain climber and I have no plans to use these for that purpose. A good carbineer can be used for a variety of other purposes - some for safety and some for anything you might want to shackle. Keep in mind that these are large, well-made, heavy duty carbineers. I keep mine in my car, for unforeseen circumstances in which this device would be useful. They are well made and have a good locking system. They can even be used to hold a fishing rod in or a kite in place. I have read the positive comments in other reviews, and I agree with them.
