> 3 dayIm impressed with the quality of these carabineers. They are very strong. I ordered them to replace the cheap hooks that I was using to hang up my hammock, and these easily hold up to the job. The locking functionality is smooth and doesnt stick, and the hinge is strong. I would trust these to support my weight while climbing.

> 3 dayGreat carabiners. Will buy them again. Great material, construction and price. Although it is mentioned in the description that they are big, yes they are. Bigger than the regular ones. But worth the price and material.

> 3 dayCarabiners are one of those things you can never have too many of - a good strong carabiner is one of the most versatile tools you can carry. These are large and made for serious use. All surfaces are very smooth and well polished so as not to abrade the ropes they are made to work with. The screw lock mechanism is well made and works smoothly. The spring loaded gate is strong and won’t just fall open. I’m not a climber, but if I was I’d trust these. There’ll get used for camping and various other backcountry activities. They’re an excellent vale and easy to recommend with a good conscience.

> 3 dayThese are seriously mega sized! As much as I saw the dimensions on the description, they were a bit bigger than I imagined. While I don’t have an immediate need for them, I know they will come in very handy soon! My plan is to use them for a hammock that we use when camping. I have used one to hang my backpack in the gym while I shoot basketballs. It’s great because it’s so strong and having my backpack up high gives me a chance to keep it in my sight line. They are also really light, yet strong! Be aware that to really lock in whatever you’ve attached, you have to screw the ring (orange in the picture) to fully cover the latch; this is the locking mechanism. It really makes these carabiners incredibly dependable tools. Good value for the money!

> 3 dayI am not a mountain climber and I have no plans to use these for that purpose. A good carbineer can be used for a variety of other purposes - some for safety and some for anything you might want to shackle. Keep in mind that these are large, well-made, heavy duty carbineers. I keep mine in my car, for unforeseen circumstances in which this device would be useful. They are well made and have a good locking system. They can even be used to hold a fishing rod in or a kite in place. I have read the positive comments in other reviews, and I agree with them.

> 3 dayThis is a very well made clip. I have not seen any deformities after load bearing (my personal safety rule is to never exceed ,70 of rated weight capacity). These are great for use around ok around the house, garage and campsite.

> 3 dayThe only drawback that keeps these from perfection is the goop. It’s lubricated a little too much and instantly got my fingers messy. The colors are REALLY cool too. Feels like these could hold an elephant. I am very pleased with these and you will be too. Just pack some wet wipes.

> 3 dayI dont know why Im so hard on carabiners, but for whatever reason I seem to damage or lose them so Im always on the lookout for decent quality (ANSI rated) ones. These look and feel like they are properly made, though I havent tried to break them like the YT channel HowNot2Highline (where they test and break every piece of gear.
