I solder at 450C and I can press the tip into this no problem. It’s just a mat but it works for my needs.

Its works to minimize heat to whats underneath. I used it when while fixing my phone with a hot air blower.

Although heat resistance is very good and it doesn’t hold as much electrostatic charge as regular silicone mats, it still seems to hold a slight one even on top of my actual ESD free mat. Basically, it actually attracts itself to my arm as I hold it up, indicating an electrostatic charge. Not as much as my regular one, so at this point I can’t tell if is really ESD free or not. I’ll see if I can find a way to measure it, if any. Otherwise, is a pretty decent soldering mat.

I needed a soldering pad so I wouldnt burn my table when soldering on my RC cars. Luckily I found this pad on Amazon. Really impressed with how heat resistance it is and the protection it offers my table top and surface. I also like all the little built in dividers for holding tiny parts like screws and such. Its really a bargain and highly recommend if you need a soldering iron pad and parts organization on your work table.

if the mat is for cell phone service get something a little larger, expensive for such a small piece

Good value and durable enough, not thick but efficiently effective.

Perfect size soft work matt for taking apart cell phones and other electronic gadgets or working on eyeglasses. The recess outer edge has plenty of indents for the lack of a better word to keep screws and parts organized. It is well-made durable work surface but I would recommend to my friends and I would buy this again.

A good soldering mat for casual projects.

I got it to protect my table or guitar when soldering pickups or making repairs. Works well.

I bought this mat to breakdown and service my pocket knives. It is great for this as the small pockets hold screws and stand offs and there is even a divot to hold my oil pen. I cant speak to heat resistance, etc. as I dont use this mat for soldering. This was a great deal for the money and I am very happy with my purchase.
