Well, it started on fire with direct flame contact ... So if your using it for soldering it will work great Im sure just dont use it for soldering pipes

Its a nice matt for soldering.

I turned my soldering iron on and let it sit on the mat for a few seconds. No burn, no melting, nothing at all. This is indeed a heat resistant mat.

I needed a soldering pad so I wouldnt burn my table when soldering on my RC cars. Luckily I found this pad on Amazon. Really impressed with how heat resistance it is and the protection it offers my table top and surface. I also like all the little built in dividers for holding tiny parts like screws and such. Its really a bargain and highly recommend if you need a soldering iron pad and parts organization on your work table.

Beautiful silicone mat with nice recessed areas for screws and little bits. Nice ruler on two edges, pretty handy. Folds and stores in a desk drawer when not in use. Seems pretty durable, Im actually kinda impressed.

Get pad for taking apart my pocket knives for cleaning it keep things organized.

I got a black silicone soldering mat for many months and I decide to get a new one for my brother who also likes to fix electronic. The silicone material feels good and it will last a long time. I love the design which has the compartments built right into it with different shapes so I can arrange type screws in each area. This helps a lot when you do soldering or repair any electronic. I def recommend this product and give it a two thumbs up!

Ive only just started using it. Im going to order more for my fellow workers, they seem to like it.
