this dirt bike didnt come with a radiator fan. I wanted one since I ride it on slow tight trails and also on the street since I added a street legal kit to it. This fits on the right side and pulls a LOT of air through the radiator. Sitting at a stoplight in the sun on a summer day in Tulsa Oklahoma (103 in the shade), this fan would cool the bike enough to actually kick off and on while idling at the light. I have used small specially waterproofed computer fans for doing the same job before when I could only use a 3 diameter fan. They are lighter but dont pull anywhere near the air through the radiator as this fan does. Of course this one draws more current than a computer fan but I think it offers way better engine protection and the current draw was acceptable for my case. Also its looks to be a LOT more durable than those modified computer fans.

This little fan packs a big punch. Definitely worth the extra money. Probably double the flow of other fans I currently have.

Real zippy. Drives a ton of air. Cools my radiator like... a...cold...thing...? Works great.

Loved the quality of the fan. It is actually the same motor dimensions as my BETA XTRAINER 300 FAN. My beta has a 3 pole mounting bracket so I just heated up the shaft of the new spall fan, pushed off the stock spall blades mounted the motor in my stock beta radiator fan bracket with the 3 motor attaching screws and re attached the spall fan blades. It works great! The only thing is that my stock beta fan blades move more air than the spall stock blades. However my stock blades did not stay on the shaft very well due to wear and tear. But it definitely dose the job. Dont spend $169.00 usd for a new OEM beta fan kit.

This part # Spal 30103018 is in fact 57mm (~2.25in) deep as measured with calipers. NOT the 48mm depth listed above. it is a fine working fan.
