> 3 dayWorks great! I purchased this to make my own cooling fan for my 2014 KTM 350EXC-F, as opposed to purchasing the KTM branded fan or the TrailTech which cost nearly 4x as much. I simply mounted it using universal radiator mounting straps (the cheap plastic ones) and it holds it strongly and securely against the radiator. (Be sure to dry fit it with the tank on before using the straps because they are one-time use). You can also purchase the mounting bracket for about $60 through KTM. I built my own relay harness with a manual override switch, should the thermo-switch ever fail. The thermo-switch plug that I used came from a late 1980s BMW 3 series. Works great and cheap!

> 3 dayGood strong air flow. I use it on my dirt bike to keep it from boiling over when on steep, slow technical trails. I think it is the same fan that comes with the KTM Hard parts cooling kit. It draws 2.2 amp which will drain my little battery if I leave it on all day, then the electric starter does not have enough electricity to start the bike, so I have to kick start it. I installed it on my radiator by using zip ties run thru the radiator fins. They cut the clip off another zip tie and use it as a nut on the zip tie sticking out the other side of the radiator. Put small O rings between the fan and fins on both sides of the radiator. Been using this method for 5 years now with out any problems.

> 3 dayOrdered this before taking the fan off my 06 KTM 525EXC. It turns out to be the exact same one that came in the bike, brand and all. I did have to change the wiring plug from the old fan using a couple of heat shrink crimp connectors. Buy it with confidence. The others listed approached $200. What a waste of money in my opinion.
