Lots of good reviews made me optimistic, but I tested it on a receptacle with no ground wire and it said it was wired appropriately WITH ground! I wouldn’t rely on this if you don’t also have the electrical knowledge to test its accuracy once you receive it.

After 6 months of regular daily use, the ground became loose and the tester gave regular faulty readings. Without a loose connection in the tester, the GFCI test button also failed to trigger GFCI breakers. While it worked, this was a handy tool. But it just wasnt durable.
