A must have to quickly check connections.

Helpful in checking if outlets were wired correctly. My gfci was acting up so I purchased this. With help from youtube I was able to correctly rewire the gfci and gain some peace of mind.

I will admit, the flaw may be due to me. This device is wonderful and I used it pre/post outlet changing. The problem I had is I was far from the GFCI outlet and did not realize that when I was tugging this out of the new tamper resistant outlet I hit the GFCI test button. It is extremely easy to hit especially when the outlet is new and tight. Like I said, mostly my fault, but could have been designed with the button in a different spot or better protected. Overall, works exactly as expected and will come in handy for years and years.

Super simple to use. I was able to check receptacles I installed. One had polarity reversed which I was quickly able to identify, correct and verify.
