It works well as advertised. I gave it 3 stars because the test condition diagram is hard to see. It is hard to differentiate between the pale yellow color and the white color, especially when viewing under warm color light bulbs. If the pale yellow color fades in a year or so, and it will be impossible to use the diagram. It would have been better to just use white color for ON and black color for OFF, or some other color scheme with higher contrast.

One of my main reasons to buy this particular one: Can I see it clearly? YES. The stickers on the front are clearly marked with solid, easy to read colors and font. What you see in the picture here IS what you get. The lights used on this are perfect indoors and out. I have another brand/type of outlet testers with yellow lights and in sunlight or even certain indoor lighting the bulbs are hard to see. The GFCI button that came on mine activates with merely a touch--hardly any pressure. :D I love it. Ive shopped around.
