I had major back surgery and was home 5 days later. I walked every day. No bowel movement for 10 days post surgery. I tried everything. MOM, Softeners, suppositories, enemas with no relief. The squatty potty was key as am I not able to bear down due to the surgery. It provided the position that was post surgery acceptable and I was able to go. I have one on each floor restroom and i play it to keep regular for the rest of my life.

I was hesitant to buy but like some of the other reviewers I had been using other things that werent made for this purpose on the occasion that I needed it. So glad I finally bought the Squatty Potty. It works like a dream and I love the different heights. Sometimes I use the shorter and sometimes the taller side. It is aesthetically pleasing and fits tight around the toilet so it is not in the way but there if you need or want to use it. Easy to assemble and good quality. Really happy I bought this as it makes a definite difference.

The description on this said plastic, but this is as close to looking like real bamboo as you can get and still be called plastic. Just the right size and depth. This has changed the whole experience. Its a must have for anyone who cant touch the floor completely and for everyone else, weve been doing this all wrong!! When youre in a comfortable position, you strain a lot less. Over time that could lead to hemorrhoids or other uncomfortable results of poor positioning and straining. You spend less time too;)

Good, but the assemble was annoying. I definitely prefer the original.

Its a little annoying to put together, but not terribly difficult to figure out.

They provide everything you need to build your squatty potty. It is so easy to figure out and kind of fun it you like putting things together. I think the bamboo stores away better because its less bulky and it makes less noise when you move it. Not to mention it looks nicer.

My toilet seat at home is extra tall by choice of the former occupants. This makes it much more comfortable to use. Love the bamboo style and how easily it tucks out of the way.

Fits comfortably under toilet, out of the way. Love that you can use it on a taller toilet or standard just by flipping it!

Im not sure why the negative reviews. Some are not measuring correctly at the high point its got an angle. Its extremely comfortable and not in the way when stored. I was skeptical at first but I suffer from stomach issues and this has helped extremely well. I highly recommend since its easy to flip for a taller person or a higher toilet. Love the two sizes and it looks great. Make sure you put the side pieces on facing the correct way they have tabs on the bottom for no skid. I love. It. Wish I bought one sooner.
