This item was exactly as described and easy to install. I have virtually no automotive expertise but after watching the video that was part of the item description I figured I could give it a try. I totally ignored the paper instructions that came with the unit and simply used the video... watch, re-watch, and (sometimes) re-watch again but overall the instructions were very clear and it worked for me the first time! Just make sure to route the wires BELOW the dashboard panel (and not through the opening). Otherwise youll be redoing some of the steps. Highly recommend!

Truly plug and play with about 30-45mins to install. Truly pleased!!

So I bought a 2016 tundra in February and I knew I needed to get a remote start installed before winter hit because I park outside. First I bought the other brand on Amazon that looks very similar and was a little bit less expensive than this one. I installed it just as instructed in the step by step and the engine would turn over but not stay running after that. The service department didn’t have anything helpful to say so I returned it. So I bought this Remote start and the installation was similar and very clear in the video but this one worked first time. Worth the extra $30 to have it working.

Extremely easy to install, running that one wire to the passenger side was the most challenging part, but overall very very easy!

It was as if it was ment to be there from day 1.. easy install unless you cant follow directions.. even a video to show you step by step..

The kit came just like it should have with everything to complete the install. I was a bit skeptical about the kit cause of the price however after looking at reviews and even the number one video on how to install this helped. This shouldnt take more then 30 mins to install if you watch the video a few times before and during installation

Easy install, best remote start module for this vehicle. Double check your truck to confirm if it has remote start. A lot of Tundras came from the factory with remote start, just research the button sequence.

Arrived 3 days early. Took me about an hour to install and program, all plug n play. Works like a charm. Everything you need is in the kit except a Philips screwdriver and 1 10mm socket. The installation video on the remotestartx.com website was perfect.
