Start-X Complete Plug N Play Remote Starter kit for Tundra 2010-2017 || Zero Wire Splicing!

For a 2014 Tundra 4x4 OR. Install took less than 1-hr. My skillset with tools it pretty deep. You do have to disconnect battery (recommended), remove drivers side bottom trim by pulling straight up, and lower dash under steering wheel (2 10mm bolts), and drivers side footwell kickpanel (one plastic 10mm). Then remove the lower steering wheel cover (2 phillip screws, turn steering wheel back and forth to get to them from in front of the steering wheel). Then Start plugging in the harnesses, 2 total. One part of the long harness goes to the passenger side. Use the supplied tool to remove the lower trim panel, I just pulled down on the right side and stuck the tool to push each of the 4 clips. There is plenty of room way in the back of the lower center console to run the wire, might need to tape the harness to a long screwdriver to run it over the other side.

It was easy to install the quick disconnect to plug and play was great. I wish I wouldve done it sooner. I am very happy I dont have to have another remote.

Works perfectly. Its not rocket surgery if you know how to follow instructions. Video made it easy to install. Maybe because I watched the videos over a hundred times. So far its worked great.

Very happy, works as expected. Never installed one before. Toyota wanted over 600 for a similar remote start. I put this in a 2016 Tundra. I went slow and watched a video on YouTube and it took me about a hour and a half. No issues. Pannels come off and go back on easy and the starter goes in easy. I will recommend.

A little intimidating at first with all the wires

Bought this for the wife’s 2015 Tundra, and it works perfect. Following along with the instruction video on the manufacturer’s website, we got it installed in about 45 minutes, using a screwdriver and the supplied panel pry tool. The supplied wire harness simply piggybacks a handful of plugs under the dash. Three quick presses of the lock button on the factory key fob, and the truck fires up. She couldn’t be happier.
