Greater than one weekThis is by far my favorite mech keyboard! Great purchase but ONLY IF you mind not having a basic keypad on the right hand side. I did not read close enough upon arrival was disappointed at first. Once I got past the no keypad part I realized I didnt need it in the first place nor do I play and games with it I legit just paid bills with it :D :D so after consideration I decided that I love this keyboard if you are looking for something that works great looks great and sounds great get this product!!! Oh and your able to customize it in so many ways!

> 3 dayThis is aesthetically gorgeous, feels amazing, and works incredibly well. Theres always a bit of a honeymoon with a new piece of tech--usually a couple days. I still find myself looking down, feeling the texture of the steel frame. Everything about this is clever, well designed. The RGB effects are easy to set up and work on a Mac. Very happy with this purchase.

Greater than one weekI bought the Steelseries Aex 7 tkl with high expectations, I was going to use for multiple fps games, and I had watched alot of youtube videos, praising the keyboard, for ergonomics, typing, and gaming. Needless to say, my high expectations were fullfilled. I bought the apex 7 tkl with Cherry MX Red switches, linear and quiet, the sound was alright, it was certainly quiter than Cherry MX Blues, but it was still a bit loud, the reaction speed is amazing, and it almost feels like the switches are touch sensitive. Rgb and the little Oled screen were cool, not outsanding, but they were still cool. The Steelseries engine 3 offered alot of rgb option like Colorshift, Static Color, etc.... The media controls in the upper right corner were also a nice and at sometimes pretty useful detail. Anyways summing up my thoughts I would give it 9/10 and would definitely recommend.

> 3 dayI bought the apex 7 tkl in October 2020 and it started to malfunction in February 2022. I really like the keyboard itself and the software that goes with it. Unfortunately it started producing keyboard chatter a couple of months ago (double typing on a single press) and also not detecting a key press. I even tried removing the key caps and blowing compressed air, but that didn’t seem to work. I think I might’ve gotten unlucky and received a keyboard that wasn’t as durable as the average apex 7 tkl, since most reviews are so positive, but that just goes to show their poor quality control. Lastly, it’s a bummer that the warranty only lasts a year, because I just crossed that window a few months ago. I have upgraded to the apex pro because I really like the OLED screen and steel series engine, but let’s see how long that one lasts.

> 3 dayIve only had one other *real* gaming keyboard before this one and this one I like a lot better. Its easy to type on and its leds are bright. Also the OLED pannel is fun to play with. Overall, I dont think Ill be buying another keyboard in a while.

> 3 dayRed switches feel like butter. Keys move so gently and nice, very quiet, bright, FULL RGB with sick presets, and not to mention the OLED, which has built in gaming presets for like CSGO, and plenty of others; you can also make game oled things yourself!

> 3 dayOk so the keyboard it self feels good to game on, love the Oled screen feels good. But I needed to replace the first one I got because it had mold like stuff on the cable and a stuck key... the second one did not have a a stuck key but also had mold like stuff on the cable so idk what in the world is that mold stuff but it’s gross and should not be on a brand new 130 dollar keyboard!!!... I would give it 5 stars if I didn’t get a stuck key and mold on the cable!!!

> 3 dayFirst off this is an excellent keyboard, the typing experience on it is great (if a bit loud, but thats what youre getting with blue switches like I did). Every piece of it just seems very high quality to me from the keys to the base and wrist-rest, its incredibly solid feeling and honestly the only feature that I could ask for is if it had a headphone-jack and detachable cord. I thought the software was very easy to use and didnt have any trouble setting it up. After using it for a bit however I question if the unique OLED in the corner was worth the price-premium, Ive found that while cool, I basically just dont use it.

> 3 dayI have no complaints about this keyboard itself. The wristrest is a little hard, but thats just my opinion. I already had a wristrest so I didnt even consider it part of the purchase. I used to have a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate and recently switched to this SteelSeries Apex TKL w/ Blue Switches. The switches feel great, you know exactly when they actuate and have a nice crisp clicky sound. The lighting options are awesome and the colors look great. I thought about going for a keyboard with the new optical switches but I was unsure of how they would feel and sound. This keyboard delivers exactly what I expected. I also replaced the orginal keycaps with some HyperX Pudding caps and it looks dope! There was nothing wrong with the stock caps, I just wanted additional aesthetic customization. I might throw some O-Rings onto WASD just to reduce the travel after actuation, which should make strafe-peaking and such easier in games like Valorant/CSGO. I easily recommend this keyboard.
