> 3 dayI love it, and dont even mind the colored light. Glad Im back to wired and not using batteries anymore. I noticed the superior response (probably due to being wired) immediately. It never misses a movement, no matter how slight. Its hard to find an ambidextrous gaming mouse too. Far too many are asymmetrical favoring non-left handed people. The only issue I have had (and its minor) is that once in a while, if I take my hand off of it, the pointer on the screen eerily drifts even though the mouse is not being moved. This has not effected gameplay or actual work usage, though. Its only happened a handful of times, and only when my hand is off of it. The free app is great too. You can easily set the sensitivity, speed, and color. I like how it has an extra middle button right beneath the scroll wheel that you can set to toggle between two speed/sensitivity settings. ie: I have it set up for normal/fast and slow/precise. Ive never had a mouse that can do that, and I love it. Its great for some games, and also software like Photoshop, Zbrush, etc. I highly recommend this model. EDIT: After about a year, the scroll wheel is dying. Not cool. I likely hastened its demise by playing a lot of Path of Exile, where clicking the wheel down acts as the third attack option button. Still, though. Its a shame the scroll wheel wasnt built very well. I basically cannot scroll web pages, etc. easily anymore. I have to replace this mouse. I docked it from 5/5 to 3/5 because of this huge issue.

> 3 dayI used a Rival 300 for around 3 years before buying this one, Its a upgrade on the sensor and you have more options in the Steelseries driver. The only complaint I can make is I have very large hands and I palm grip my mice so its not quite big enough for me, but the price and the quality over all make it a great buy.

> 3 day3.5 / 5 This mouse was replacing a (very) old Razer Diamondback, and I am returning it as it does not live up to my expectations. I really only had 2 criteria for this mouse: 1) Feels good in my hand 2) Two side buttons for my thumb (I map them for a couple of games that I play) For me, this mouse isnt what I was looking for in either case. Let me be blunt here- this mouse feels like a toy in my hand compared to the Razer. This might be one me- I knew the mouse was made out of plastic, but everything about the body of the mouse feels flimsy to me. The scroll wheel is fine, and it seems to track well, so really just the feel of the plastic in my hand is not working for me. For the second point, the two buttons are indeed on the side, but they take a good effort to depress. The Razer I was used to had almost hair-triggers for the mouse buttons and the side buttons. This may have been due to age, but the Rival 110 feels very stiff in comparison. So, for those two reasons, I am going to send it back. As it turns out, if nothing is wrong with the mouse, you have to pay to ship items back. That has led me to decide to buy all future computer hardware (well, most of it at least) from my local Best Buy, because that way I can try something out, and bring it back within 2 weeks with no penalty. This mouse is not for me, but for the price, it might be worth it for you. If you want a stiff-ish clicking gaming mouse, and you dont mind the plasticy feel of the thing, this might be a good buy for the price.

> 3 dayApparently, this is a known issue, either with this brand or this 110 mouse. Only having this mouse for 11 months before breaking and realizing I wont buy another SteelSeries mouse ever again, I decided to just take the mouse apart to see what the issue is after seeing forum posts and youtube videos complaining of the same problem. Those complaints were correct. The micro switches on the PCB of the thumb button area of the mouse are not flush or secured to the PCB and just wobble around, eventually leading to it bending and not registering clicks anymore. Theres zero way they couldnt have known that was going to happen to people and are just going along with it and selling the mouse anyway. Intentional or not, who cares. It worked great when it worked, but once this happens, the mouse is done. Only 11 months later. And its advertised as a gaming mouse. Knowing this, Im not going to bother with an RMA, even if its replaced with properly secured micro switches. They could have easily just pulled the mouse from the market or did a recall or something, but. I guess not. Im not going to do business with a company that does that.

> 3 dayI loved this mouse while it was alive. It worked very well and I liked being able to set my dpi buttons to specific settings depending on which game I was playing. Felt great, didnt hurt my hand at all. But alas... It died from my new kitten biting through the cord under my desk. But I did love this mouse, would recommend for the average gamer who wants a nice quick and reactive mouse! Just watch out for kitten teeth.

Greater than one weekQuality and durability is great. Can only be customized by Steelseries Engine 3 as a PC program which can be mildly obnoxious from time to time. Randomly decides to change RGB color every blue moon or two, but its fine. I wish there was a way to turn off the glow, though.
