So happy with this purchase. Strathmore didnt disappoint. The paper quality is good for water colors. The texture is great as well. The paint bleeds well. The size is perfect for greeting cards, envelopes are well constructed. The cards also have a nice crease line. Economical purchase - bought when the box was $35.

Very nice paper and envelopes! Its 140 lb. cold pressed paper, and perfect for watercolors. I dont get saturatedly wet, in my work, but do wash out an entire background, for which these cards held up well. Highly recommend!

Its a great version of an old idea. I remember a time when dropping a postcard in the mail was the in thing to do. Perhaps its time to see if my high school art teacher was correct about my talent. I heard a world class watercolor artist tell a class get down the basics and paint a hundred pieces and youll become an artist. Then there was the guy who painted stamps on his letters home and to friends for years.... Think Im gonna order a few more pads, and maybe some thin brushes.... Oh, and a jewelers glasses, a back pillow, big bottle of asprin. Yean, a lighted magnifying glass... Lets see, and a crate of the Strathmore pads.... thats the ticket... A hundred picture (PERFECT) stamps, eh, postcards and Im an artist. Neat (Gotta remember no returned addresses & sign with an X).

Paper is sturdy and nice. Envelopes are a really nice paper as well.

Its not as sturdy as I would like for my purposes -- I tend to use a lot of water -- but these are 140 lb paper which is good enough for most watercolor artist and it is worth the money.

This is my second purchase of these cards. I love the quality of the paper and how well they are crafted! I can create cards in minutes! Will reorder these many more times as needed!

I like these for water coloring my Christmas cards. I also did a big Valentines Day project with our local veterans home. They hold a good amount of water without buckling.

These Strathmore blank water color postcards are excellent gifts, having given one to each member of my water color class. They are also wonderful paper CARDS for painting a quick thank you note to family and friends, especially following a recent birthday, where I was given an Amazon gift card by both my brothers. I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether you are a beginning student or more advanced. The quality of the paper seems better than other Strathmore watercolor paper, as it takes the removal of pigment using a q-tip better than most paper. My paintings have been too nice to mail them as a postcard like they are intended, so I would advise placing the postcards in a padded envelope, and use the back of the cards to write in the date your painting was completed, and colors of paint used, and the location, if it was from a place you visited.
