Greater than one weekI use these postcards for drawings in ink and watercolor. The paper is perfect for doing this type of work.

> 3 dayReally liked these for my first watercolor card project. No “waffling” of paper. Finished cards are good quality ( “right” thickness ) and I think contributed to compliments received. Price reasonable, as both card and envelope together are less than $1. Bought more as a gift to someone who wanted to try making their own cards. Will buy again.

07-06-2025this watercolor postcard tablet is not blank on both sides, as most of this type are, but is printed on the reverse, with wide, dark lines and a mock stamp, with the place stamp here text to put your stamp on. as I was planning to use it for field practice and wanted the option to use both sides, and also planned to use some for miniature card projects (folded in half), this just did not work. there is nothing wrong with it, but there really should be an image of the back on the product page and, at the very least, a description on the package that states that the pages are lined and printed for mailing on the back. in another time, I might have considered drawing my own, much narrower lines to suit my personal handwriting size and writing style, but, as it is, I would not think to open mail a watercolor landscape I was happy with and wanted to share (wouldnt they get damaged, anyhow?). because this postcard book is designed in such a way as to limit its use, I am giving it three stars and a general meh.

> 3 dayI wouldnt (and havent) done lots of layering or broad washes on this paper (think landscapes) but its great for quick doodles or illustrations without backgrounds.

> 3 dayI have created tiny masterpieces with these postcards and my KOI watercolor kit and water brush. I use tube watercolors for larger works, but the KOI kit works great on small areas like this and is convenient to take anywhere. No need to carry water. I am sort of reviewing the KOI lit here as I didnt purchase it or my first batch of Strathmore Watercolor Postcards, because they were given to me as a Christmas gift by my husband. This great combination of products got me back into painting (watercolor exclusively) after years of abstention. I am 60 now and stopped painting and sketching after I went to college. <y only creative outlet for those intervening 32 years was singing. Now I manage a non-profit that brings the musical arts to rural schools and I paint and garden to relax and release my creative energy. Give it a try!
