> 24 hourExcited to try this light out on my helmet. First time use, yep the tiny screw that secures the light to the bracket came loose and the light slid off the bracket. The Allen wrench that was supplied is only the size to secure it to my helmet. So the tiny screw doesn’t secure they light well enough and it will loosen back up over time. I had such high hopes for this little light, but do yourself a favor and stay with the original Vantage Streamligh helmet light. It’s a much better and more secure bracket. Very disappointed with this purchase. Sent back for a refund

> 24 hourLove the compact size. Fits great with traditional style helmet. Battery life could be better

> 24 hourGreat Light until you shear off the set screw that holds the light onto the mount. But Ill definitely be replacing it with the same light.

> 24 hourThis fits on my helmet so well and is small so it doesn’t get snagged on anything. The light is very bright and easy to turn on/off with structure gloves.

> 24 hourLOVE the actual light. Button easy to press with gloves. Hardly ANY helmet tilt and it’s nice and small. Mine is mounted to a phoenix west coast style helmet. The mount is definitely just OK and I like how you can still rotate the light to a different position without having to loosen anything up, but am weary that over time the lock up won’t be as tight as it is now. THE STINKIN SET SCREW everyone is talking about IS an actual joke. I went to tighten it down fresh out of the package with the provided Allen key and it STRIPPED without hardly ANY pressure. The physical bolt stripped, not the Allen key. What a total shame. I put some super glue in the small hole to prevent it from backing out as I don’t even see the reason to even remove it in the first place. You can change the battery, remove it with the mount attached from your helmet, and rotate the light without needing to even touch that set screw. Hoping I’m not wrong about that because it’s permanent now… lol

> 24 hourLight stopped working properly after less than a few months. First problem was when the battery cap was screwed ok all the way closed the light would not turn on unless I untightened the cap a few turns leaving the rubber gasket showing. 2nd issue was after light use trying to turn the light on it would only flash when I pressed the power button but would not stay on. Sent the light into the manufacturer for repairs they emailed me that they fixed the issue and were sending me the light back and after 3 weeks still no light. No emails back from the fire store after repeated attempts to find out where my light is. Pretty much a waste of $100 dollars never buying again from the fire store.
