> 3 dayBought this for my traditional helmet so this review has to do with the firefighter helmet mount. Powerful little light! You’re not gonna be able to spotlight something 100ft away, but it definitely works in interior operations with smoky conditions. Very well made mount. Took me a minute to figure out how to swivel the light so I’ll include it here. Loosen the tiny set screw almost all the way out (don’t worry- there’s some sort of ring in it that keeps it from coming out) then just turn the mount 90 degrees! I had to use a pair of vise grips and a pliers to get mine to go, but it does go

> 3 dayProduct is worthless because of one tiny screw. The tiny screw is intended to hold the light and mounting together. A tiny hex wrench needed to maneuver the the tiny screw is not included. Without it, one cannot properly assemble and mount the light. I went to multiple hardware stores looking for the right tool, no luck. They are using a tiny obscure size. Save your money and your time trying to return this fancy paper weight.

> 3 dayBought this for my son who is a first responder. He LOVES it. I am just amazed the county he works for does not provide wearable lights.

Greater than one weekWorked for two fires. Very bright. Then stopped working. Will not turn on. Changed batteries, without resolve of issue. Not melted. Was not exposed to extreme heat or shock damaged. Would not trust this light in a bad situation. Will be sending back and trying a different option. For almost 100 dollars, I was hoping this would be the last helmet light I ever needed.

Greater than one weekAn all around great light, This light is ideal for motor vehicle accidents especially during extractions since the light aims exactly where your helmets pointed and you can swivel it. Only down side it that you can snag it and strech the mounting bracket

> 3 dayLOVE the actual light. Button easy to press with gloves. Hardly ANY helmet tilt and it’s nice and small. Mine is mounted to a phoenix west coast style helmet. The mount is definitely just OK and I like how you can still rotate the light to a different position without having to loosen anything up, but am weary that over time the lock up won’t be as tight as it is now. THE STINKIN SET SCREW everyone is talking about IS an actual joke. I went to tighten it down fresh out of the package with the provided Allen key and it STRIPPED without hardly ANY pressure. The physical bolt stripped, not the Allen key. What a total shame. I put some super glue in the small hole to prevent it from backing out as I don’t even see the reason to even remove it in the first place. You can change the battery, remove it with the mount attached from your helmet, and rotate the light without needing to even touch that set screw. Hoping I’m not wrong about that because it’s permanent now… lol
