Streamlight 74303 Strion LED Flashlight with AC Charger, Black - 260 Lumens

I bought this to replace an older strion that was wearing out. Its a great upgrade, much brighter than the old model and has 3 brightness settings which is a nice improvement. Battery life is good, I havent had it die on me yet so Im not sure how long itll go exactly but well over an hour on full power. Very small and portable, easily fits in pockets or a purse.

I had bought my first streamlight strion with the anti-roll and led (new design) 4 years ago. The light was still working great, retained its charge - but I had it stolen from inside my home by one of my relatives (my wifes side of the family) on Halloween night 2013. I found so many uses for this flashlight that I cannot do without, so I ordered a new one without the charger (I still have the charger, it did not get stolen). Anyone looking to invest on a great light, do yourself a favor and spend the bucks.It is definitely worth every penny-

This is the second flashlight of this model I have owned. The first is close to three years old and have replaced the battery once. These are the brightest and handiest flashlights Ive ever owned. Much brighter than a four C cell Mag-Lite I recently purchased. Bought the second Strion as Im going back into law enforcement part-time and want to have a fully charged backup. I carry one on my hip almost all the time. If you dont have a charger, youll need one.

Great little light

I had the original Steamlight Strion for a while before it disappeared on me. I ended up getting this one without the charger since the theyre all the same. I have to say this one is really nice and a lot brighter than the previous model, I had. They eliminated the need to twist the cap for constant-on which is freat because it never worked that great. The tactical on/off button works great and is easy to operate. It also fits well in your hand and the texturing works well with one-hand, tactical operations. The light intensity settings are nice to have. Trying to do paperwork at night with this thing on full blast would blind you, but on the low setting theres no problem; combined with the anti-roll bars it works perfect. Above everything else, this thing is BRIGHT. So far, the brightest Ive seen for a light its size. It has a main beam with a lighter halo around it. The halo actually is useful for looking at things closer up without turning the brightest down.

Use this at work and its great. Very bright light for such a small flashlight. I carry an extra rechargeable battery with me just in case the one inside dies, but honestly I can go about two full work shifts with this and not need to replace the battery/charge it. I would highly recommend for those in LE. Ive dropped it, thrown it (weird story), and used it for countless hours. You might pay a little more up front, but its nothing compared to the guys spending hundreds on cool flashlights. Stick to this, you wont regret it and it wont drag you down with weight.

These are the best flashlights in the world! Ive owned several of these for 10+ years with no problems!
