only down side is the price but as they say you get what you pay for and i do not regret it one bit. a side note... if you are like me and only make short trips and plan on using the car charger, make sure it is on a power port that stays on. the short charging cycles, form short distance drives, do nothing to charge the battery.

My husband is an auto mechanic and also many different flashlights for his work. He got this one a long time ago and it is still in perfect working condition and very bright! We actually bought this one as a gift to his boss for Christmas because his boss loved my husbands so much. He was thrilled to receive it.

I BOUGHT THIS FLASHLIGHT TO REPLACE MY OLDER STINGER.....AND LET ME TELL YA, THIS LIGHT IS NOTHING SHORT OF PERFECT. THREE TIMES BRIGHTER THEN THE OLD ONE. A LITTLE LONGER THEN I AM USED TO BUT WITH THE DUAL SWITCH, BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT AND STROBE MODE, IT CERTAINLY MAKES UP FOR IT. I RESEARCHED, FOR A WHILE, ON THE DIFFERENT MODELS AND PRICES AND FOUND THIS TO BE ABSOLUTLY THE BEST DEAL. DONT FOOL YOURSELF.......GET IT AND FORGET ABOUT FLASHLIGHT ISSUES FOR A LONG TIME. Wow! I love this flashlight. Charged it up and took it outside the first night. I heard coyotes in the field across the road. Turned it on, heard a little yip, and no more coyotes. The next day I took the light to work (industrial maintenance). We were having problems with an electronic control board. To see better, I turned my DS C4 on the board. Oops. It burned a hole right through the board, about 1-1/2 in diameter! Wow, thats why they have three different levels of brightness. When I got home that evening, I walked to where I had seen the coyote the night before. He was still there, dead as a doornail with an 1-1/2 hole burned right through him! This made me start to think of the many uses for this flashlight. My snow blower chute wouldnt turn because it was frozen. I turned my DS C4 on low beam, and aimed it at the ice. Within seconds it melted the ice and I was off and running. The next day at work, we were sliding 4x10sheets of 1/4 plate steel into place to create a new floor area. One sheet needed to be trimmed around a beam. I wondered.....Sure enough, my DS C4 had plenty of power to cut the plate. Ive only had this light for a week, but I can see that the uses are endless. The fact that it is rechargeable only adds to fun. I took my wife to a restaurant we had been wanting to try, but have avoided because its in a high crime area. She said Honey, are you sure well be safe I showed her my Stinger DS C4 and her worries were over. What an enjoyable evening. I am sure that other users have had similar experiences with this light. I would buy the DS C4 again, in a flash.

Perfect for automotive inspection for car inspection

I have purchased this flashlight and have used this brand for more than 10 years and have never had a issue till I bought this one from the amazon website the battery life is crap it does not hold a charge I work a 10 hour shift and use the light throughout my shift I do not leave it on for more then five minutes at a time and within two hours it is starting to go dead and I have to charge it again after charging it the day before my next shift would not recommend buying from this site or seller your better off going to a police supply store and buying it from there also the top rubber button came off within 3 days of me having and using tbe light. Sent it into streamliggt to be repaired and was told the battery pack that came with the light was used and need to be replaced and the button was not put in correctly could have been done by streamlight during production other than those issues the light is bright and durable like all streamliggt products so once again your better off buying it from streamlights website or a police and security supply store

Highly recommend a blue flashlight specifically for law-enforcement or first responders. I used this flashlight during the Academy and still do. The rechargeable battery option is a must.

Best flash lights ever. Coming from a former auto tech now diesel tech. I always use stream light. They’re expensive, but worth every penny!

Excellent buy! Pricey but worth the money. My husband is in the towing business and will not use any other light. We now have 2! Used over a year now with absolutely no problems. It is sometimes difficult to remove from the charging base but hopefully this means it will last a long time. These lights are very bright and will even cut off our outside pole nightlight if pointed at it!! The Charge lasts for several days.

I bought this for my son for his birthday who became a police officer recently. His girlfriend noticed it on his amazon list so we bought it and he was so happy!! I found out our other son already uses this flashlight on the job ( he is a deputy also) and he did tell him just to charge it after he gets off duty and it will be strong his whole next shift! He did say he didn’t use the car mount charger as it’s always on him at work , Everyone was impressed with thus light even out if the box with no charging yet we could see to the tops of the tall trees perfectly at night!
