This is a very solid and dependable light. It is the brightest practical light that I own and works great for a duty rig. It holds a good spot over a great distance. The switches have an incredibly useful momentary on function if you dont push the button down all the way. You can easily tell the difference between this and cheaper lights. I have yet to find someone with a light rated at hundreds of lumens that I cant drown out with my beam. I am very happy with this light and I cant express to you how happy I am about never having to worry about batteries again. I have had this light for over a year now and it still works like it was new.

This is a realy bright durable flashlight. It charges fast, but can drain in just 2.5 to 3 hours. I took it camping and used the 2nd to brightest setting and was stuck digging out my bike flashlight when this light died on the 2nd night. It cuts through the dark with an amazing beam of light. I love it just wish it lasted longer on high beam.

Perfect for a fire investigator

I work as an Inspector with the USDA and I was extremely pleased when I first purchased my Stinger DS C4 back in May of 2009. I use my light to inspect facilities, equipment, and product throughout the course of the day and it made my job a lot easier. The Establishments that I work in were all so impressed with the light they went out and purchased the same lights for their staff. The light is super bright(I believe its rated at 180 lumens), it has a really tight beam, a decent battery life for an LED light, and its rechargeable so you dont have to mess around with buying or changing batteries out all the time. However, over the past year I have purchased two of these lights. My first C4 took a dump in January 2010. Both of the switches quit working at the same time and the only way I could shut it off was to pull the battery out--of course doing this too many times just lead to me cross-threading the cap. I immediately bought another one and less than two weeks after purchasing the second light its switches quit working too! Ive talked with streamlights customer service and have sent my lights in for repair at no cost(other than having to pay for the shipping). The customer service rep told me that they would have the lights back to

This is a great flashlight. I work in a dealership as a tech and everybody has the original LED stinger. So I finally got one, the C4 stinger is ALOT brighter that the original, my low setting is still brighter that everyone elses high setting. Provides a very bright light, with a crisp circle. Loved it so much I bought one for my dad. I use it all day every day at work and the battery lasts up to two weeks before I have to charge, very practical!

I love these flashlights. We have several at work, and I had to buy my own. The wife wasnt happy about $100+ for a flashlight, but whatever. These things are bright, and super durable.

Someone gave me one of these flashlights and I loved it. The light is bright, comfortable to hold, light weight, easily rests in you pocket, and comes with a convenient car charger. I dropped my light into Lake Lanier one night and I am sure the fish are still using somewhere in the 80+ feet deep lake. I did not hesitate a to go to Amazon and purchase another light, for a little more than $100.00. When I received my new light, it was already charged and I was back in business until I took off then end cap. The end cap was mis-threaded and it would not go back on properly. I ordered an exchange from Amazon and it was very convenient with their return/exchange policy and practices. I received my new light and returned the faulty one with no hassles; however, when I received my second one, the exact same thing happened except this time, the cap mis threaded as I was unscrewing it and it would not come off or go back on. I was gentle with it when I tried to unscrew it because I was worried about it, but it still snagged and got stuck. I called the Stream light company and spoke to their customer service, they told me this was not a common problem, but they have had a few complaints. Stream light told me to take the light to an authorized dealer to check the light, however, the closest one to my house is more than 40 miles away, so again, I exchanged it with Amazon and was sent a new light. I have had the second new one now for about a week, so far, so good... I think the light is Awesomely bright, Id recommend it to anyone.

This flashlight is exactly what I used when I was Deputy on patrol. You can light up a football field with this thing. Good quality and well worth the money you spend on it. I received the flashlight. charger and adapter for both wall plug in and car plug in.
