I bought this velcro to keep my couch cushions from constantly sliding forward. The good news is that the velcro itself works great. Both strips have a very strong hold on one another. However, the adhesive itself is not ideal for fabric. I get that description of the item stated that it is suitable for flat surfaces like wood, glass, and plastic, but I was really hoping that it could be more versatile. After a full day, the couch cushions are mostly in place and I only have to readjust the seats at the end of the night. However, the real problem comes when I want to remove the cushions from the couch. Because the velcro itself is so strong and the adhesive doesnt like fabric, the two strips will stick to each other, but completely rip off from the cushion itself. I also attempted to sew the velcro in place, similar to how the couch manufacturer had some velcro sewed onto the back cushions, however my non-industrial sewing machine cant handle the job and the velcro is too thick to hand sew through. Overall, if you need some strong velcro to adhere onto a flat surface made out of the manufactures suggested materials (wood, plastic, and glass), this velcro works great! If like me, you need to stick it onto soft surfaces like fabric, Id suggest you look elsewhere. PROS: +Velcro strips have a strong hold on one another +Easy to install +Comes in a large size (width) and roll enough for large projects with plenty left over CONS: -Not suitable for soft surfaces like fabric -Too thick to reinforce with stitches

Got these to secure wire covers to the wall. They secure very well, only issue was that it secure too well. When tried to remove, I took the paint off the wall. But do recommend.

LOVE THE ADHESION! It’s super strong tape; once it’s on and the two pieces are stuck together it’s quite difficult to remove, which is exactly what I was looking for! I bought a cushion for my love seat, but unfortunately it was a couple inches too short, so it slides around when you’re sitting on it. I cut enough tape to stick on the borders and the middle of my cushion as well as the wooden bench I wanted to adhere it to. The sliding problem is now fixed! The tape sticks incredibly well too wood, unfortunately not too much to the fabric, but the company does not make any claims in doing so, so that was definitely my own decision. Even though it doesn’t stick too well to fabric, still does the job (might also be a plus that it removes easily in case I need to wash it in the future)!

We used this for not only household items but also as a way to keep our miniature dachshund *all 11 lbs of her* keep her paws from burning in the hot Arizona sun. My husband and I noticed that she was very hesitant to step over the sliding door threshold to go back into the house after being outside and suggested we try it as a protector by putting the softer side facing up like a mini mat or strip. It works like a charm. I gave my husband kudos for thinking outside of the box on that one and no ones paws get burned anymore! A win win!!

I needed something with strong grip to help support some heavy custom made wall hangings that we’re supposed to be supported by a peg-in-hole mechanism. Unfortunately the pegs do not always keep their grip, and we initially used some small Velcro strips to help keep the plaques in place. A few weeks ago one of the plaques crashed off the wall - each plaque weighs about 25 pounds. Needless to say, we did not want that happening on a recurring basis. I got some of this tape and put multiple 6 inch strips on each plaque. The back of the plaques and the wall surface they connect to are both unfinished plywood. I was very impressed by both the adhesion to the plywood surfaces and the strength of the Velcro binding. This stuff provides a really strong holding capability. I would recommend it for situations where you want some serious holding power from a Velcro type of tape.

It helps keep items in desired location with velcro removal easily.

No issues getting the product to lay flat. Both the glue and hook & loops work well. Didnt try with any heavy item.
