Hook and Loop is very strong. Satisfied with that portion of this product but the adhesion side may be lacking for how strong it is. Ive had things mounted for three days, hoping adhesion would be cured and strong, and tried removing on the devices attached to under my desk. As mentioned the adhesion on the desk side was trying to give way before the hook and loop. Two options: Cut it down into smaller strips/pieces. Use super glue gel to increase adhesion so it doesnt come off the thing you are attaching or the place you are attaching it to.

I use this to keep a kayak battery in place and this product works!!! The adhesive is very strong, and the hook and loop holds like iron.

Ive used this for so many different things. The adhesive and velcro have a very strong hold. Would definitely buy again.

Great adhesion! I used it on foam and plastic. Very strong adhesive hold as well as the hook and loop

This is better than the original Velcro IMO. I use it primarily on boat covers and that type of application, so its also sewn on after sticking in place. I only gave 3 stars for easy to remove because it really sticks and actually damaged the fabric I was applying it to when I placed it a bit crooked the first time. Thankfully the damage was cosmetic only and able to be hidden by the final placement. For applications that dont need to be sewn, as long as the surface is clean and free of any debris prior to placing, this stuff is GREAT!!!

I bought this velcro to keep my couch cushions from constantly sliding forward. The good news is that the velcro itself works great. Both strips have a very strong hold on one another. However, the adhesive itself is not ideal for fabric. I get that description of the item stated that it is suitable for flat surfaces like wood, glass, and plastic, but I was really hoping that it could be more versatile. After a full day, the couch cushions are mostly in place and I only have to readjust the seats at the end of the night. However, the real problem comes when I want to remove the cushions from the couch. Because the velcro itself is so strong and the adhesive doesnt like fabric, the two strips will stick to each other, but completely rip off from the cushion itself. I also attempted to sew the velcro in place, similar to how the couch manufacturer had some velcro sewed onto the back cushions, however my non-industrial sewing machine cant handle the job and the velcro is too thick to hand sew through. Overall, if you need some strong velcro to adhere onto a flat surface made out of the manufactures suggested materials (wood, plastic, and glass), this velcro works great! If like me, you need to stick it onto soft surfaces like fabric, Id suggest you look elsewhere. PROS: +Velcro strips have a strong hold on one another +Easy to install +Comes in a large size (width) and roll enough for large projects with plenty left over CONS: -Not suitable for soft surfaces like fabric -Too thick to reinforce with stitches

It works, but there are a few issues. -If you have a plastic bed liner then youll need someone to hold it up as you place this product down. -It was long enough for my tailgate, but I did have to cut off about 5 inches. This is a positive. -However; it was barely wide enough to clear the gap between the bed and the tailgate. -If I had not noticed this then it would not fit. -I was only allow to use about half of one side of the adhesive on the bed, to insure the other half reached the tailgate. -Sadly, this means there is exposed adhesive running along the entire tailgate, on the bed side. -This means dirt WILL stick to it from below and possibly weaken the adhesive. If it peels off at any time, then Ill update my review. I happen to use my trucks bedliner hide exposed wires to my self-installed backup camera. This means I had to cut slits into this to allow the wires through. No clue if this is going to cause a issue later or not. When applying this product, be sure to first lay it out so you can cut off any that extends past your tailgate. You DONT want it to extend past it. Ypu also want to position one end where youll want it to stick. Mostly to make sure both sides will reach their targets. Then partly peel off one end of either side (I suggest the bed side) and apply it. With one hand holding the peel from underneth, and the other pressing down from the top, slowly peel back the peel as you press down and adjust. This way it sticks where you want it. Then go over it with the inuded roller press. Once this is done, feel free to go ahead and peel off the other side and SLOWLY lay it in place. Use the roller to press it down to remove wrinkles and air pockets. Open and close test the the tailgate a few times, to work it into its perminate position.

The problem with all these Velcro-type hook-and-loop products is there has to be a perfect balance between the strength of the hold that the hook-and-loop material provides and the hold of the adhesive backing. The hook-and-loop grip cant be stronger than the adhesive that is holding each side of the sides of the tape to the surfaces you want to join. If they hold with too much strength, then when you try to pull them apart (which is the whole idea behind this H&L technology -- that you can attach and detach and then repeat many times -- but if the H&L hold is stronger than the adheasive hold which attaches it to the object, then it is useless. I have gotten a number of H&L, even brand Velcro where the adhesive wasnt strong enough and trying to pull the H&L piece apart would pull the tape away instead of separating the H&L. This product does it perfectly -- the adhesive is mighty strong and it will not let go. Worked perfectly for our purposes.
