Sub-Zero Air Purification Cartridge-7042798

The item arrived on time but it was damaged, probably due to the poor packaging. When I opened the box, tiny shards of glass were falling out of the cartridge. I read a lot of product reviews before ordering it. I clearly understood that if you gently shake the cartridge, its normal to hear a (broken) rattling sound. I can’t believe tiny pieces of glass falling out into your hands is normal. I don’t think the product itself was inferior, but the packaging was definately inadequate, allowing damage to occur.

Product broken and used. The packaging was torn and obviously previously open. The item is half price at authorized dealers. I dont recommend this product.

Tamper resistant seal was broken on arrival. Disappointed given price point.

Subzero computer is telling me this filter is nearly discharged, ie… i was sent a used filter.

The surface of the part looks very rough, not like a brand new one.

DO NOT BUY!!!! COVERED IN SMALL GLASS SHARDS!! SHARD STUCK IN FINGER REQUIRED TWEEZERS TO REMOVE

This is the manufacturers item. It works best. Don’t use the copy cats. They are inferior and could possibly void the warranty.

Easy to install works well. Just wish it wasn’t so darned expensive.

When we got our SubZero and filter replacement time rolled around, we got a filter that said it was comperable to original SubZero filter. Well, my husband looked at the original and compared it to the CHEAP one. He immediately sent it back. Yes, they may be pricey but worth the investment especially since we invested in a high end frig! No regrets AND it may affect your warranty if not using the proper filter.
