Product was not good came in cracked in the corner. Decided to use anyway cause not worth the trouble sending and returning. It cracked more within two weeks. Also half of the touch screen is not working properly.

Well what can I say. If it had not been for my sister I might not like this product. Let me explain. My screen on my iPad shattered thanks to my three year old. That’s another story. My husband did research and said it was extremely difficult to change it out and should probably not be attempted. Apple charges $200.00 to do it and I thought that was an option. A new iPad would cost me over $400.00 so decisions decisions. I found this screen replacement on Amazon and thought, okay it’s around $20.00 I’ll be throwing away if it doesn’t work so why not? My sister who has tiny hands and lots of patience offered to help and of course I accepted! Okay maybe I asked her. Anyway I watched as she carefully removed the shattered glass detached all the small connections ( I was in charge of pausing and rewinding the how to video) I will tell you that if I was the one doing it I would have been so frustrated and probably wanted to give this product a one star review but really if the person doing the changing has the personality and patience this product is perfect. I woke up this morning after having a few nightmares last night about screen changing and there it was my beautiful iPad good as new! Yes, the operation was successful and the $20.00 investment paid off. If you or a loved one have a patience level like my sister go for it!!!

Screen fits and functions perfect. Comes with the adhesive strips installed so you get a good seal between the iPad and screen. Once the old broken screen is out of the iPad it only takes about ten minutes to install this screen.

Horrible screen! At first I thought all was ok during installation, but as soon as the screen was installed it cracked. Very bad quality

Having had to remove the OM digitizer, it is clear to see that apples adhesive is higher quality than what is preapplied. That said as long as you use a case that wraps around the screen, I wouldnt have too much concern. It has been almost 3 weeks since my install, and so far it is preforming well, and is still well set. TIP: This digitizer, as described, does NOT come with a home button. Therefore you will need to purchase some adhesive/ adhesive sticker tape to properly reinstall the home button. I suspect that some of the negative reviews citing the home button moving or floating skipped this step.
