> 3 daySo...... I really dont know how I feel about this book. Well its good... The storyline is solid, assassins, finding a lost love. Great character dynamics. But then a lot also didnt make sense or turned me off, yeah I just skipped the water sports(no thank you very much). And Im not getting the reason for Yoshis demotion.

> 3 dayWhile the romantic leads in this story were Yoshi & his Sir, Dmitry, it was also clearly about setting up a solid base for the series continuation. Both objectives were done well. I found the bits & pieces of BDSM to be intriguing, without being over the top. Ive been a fan of Golden Showers, but this one was handled pretty well. Y is PI$$ED at D, and I cant say I blame him. I have to say though, I cant really blame D for doing what he truly believed was best got the boy he loved. Nice writing style and the perfect amount of heat. I also enjoyed the fact that there were pretty much no editing issues - theyll kill a book for me. Will be on the lookout for book two and I suggest you join me!

27-11-2024I enjoyed reading about Yoshi and Dmitry. I liked how the story progressed and the secrets that were revealed. The characters are interesting and complex. I feel like I cant list the main trope since it will give part of the story away. Yoshi is recovering from his last mission and taking it easy on his current one. It doesnt help his mental health when he becomes attracted to his current mark. Secrets are revealed and loyalties are tested once everything comes to light. Fun, sexy, read. You should really check it out.

> 3 dayYoshi is a 22year old assassin, part of The Assassin’s Guild (TAG) since he was 13. He has been sent out on a contract on Jacob Peters, a community college professor, but as he watches his target, he has questions when he hears him speak in Russian. Yoshi requests more information as he continues to plan how to carry out his assignment, but he is determined to figure out what is wrong and who or what his target could be beyond just a professor. Yoshi is also strongly drawn to the target sexually, and he is confused about the reason for that. The more he watches his target, the more he decides he must capture and interrogate Peters himself to solve the mystery, only to reveal another mystery from his own past. There are twists and turns in the plot, two interesting characters that seem to be connected somehow beyond target and assassin, and an inexplicable draw for Yoshi to Jacob, which is both mysterious and complicated as it plays out. Book held my interest and had me making prediction as I read along, trying to figure it out. The book is easily read in an evening. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

> 3 dayThe story is told from two POVs -- with each MC having half the book. In some ways, the story starts out a little slow as Mr. W observes his mark and we learn a little about his history and the T.A.G. world. We watch him struggle with his instincts and his bodys reactions, while he attempts to follow assassin rules. Emotions run hot and cold throughout. And there are unexpected events. This is not a HEA, but a mostly HFN with a promise that there could be more. It was left open and ready for the next book. The one thing I would have liked to see was more of an explanation on the assassins naming hierarchy. But I really enjoyed the lion story. The ARC still had some proofreading issues, mostly wrong or missing words, but nothing too annoying.

> 3 dayThis is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. There is a lot going on and it got a bit confusing, but it all comes together in the end. Lots of kink going on, for sure. I will enjoy reading about the rest of the characters.

> 3 dayWhat a lovestory! Yes its a sexy read but, the love of a goid man never fails. Time and change are the constants in life. But, Love conquers all. A G has put together a steamy hot novel full of Love. What more do we need! The characters are well developed and very believable. I met a few here I think would be fun to know and play with! Thank you Drac for being a friend and Great writer.

> 3 dayThank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Being sent to assassinate the poor professor in a little town college had Yoshi wondering what was really going on. Who would put target on this guy? The older male he was watching fit all his kink factors. Will he be able to complete his mission or fail? he has been Lusting after the man was a bad idea but talking to the man was worse. Finding out the mark was? This book was new unique take on assassin guilds. With bdsm kinks of self restraints themes I cant wait for book two after the cliffhanger ending.
