> 3 dayTAG has to be one of the best action-packed and hottest book that I have read in a LONG time! Yoshi is an assassin, and after an assignment that went wrong, he was punished by being given an easy assignment. The assignment: to kill an English Teacher and make it look like an accident! While observing this English Teacher, Jacob, he begins to think that there is something wrong with the assignment. Of course, nothing can come easy with this mark, and we get action, some sneaking, a LOT of kinky times. This book was a complete package - it had everything! It was thrilling and kept your attention with the twists and turns the characters take. It was funny - with Yoshis brother being my favorite source of humor! It was off-the-charts HOT - the more intimate scenes are so sexy, and kinky, and leave you breathless! Combine all that with the outstanding writing skills of AG Carothers and you have the perfect book to warm you up! This was an absolutely fantastic read and I cant wait for the next in the series.

> 3 dayA.G. Carothers T.A.G. Youre Seen is the first book in The Assassins Guild series. It was avery interesting and entertaining tale. I am actually really excited for the rest of the series. The main characters had a kinky chemistry going on but there was sweetness in their connection as well. The story was fun... and had a twist I didnt see. The supporting characters made me want their stories, too. Definitely worth reading. I received an advanced readers copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation. .

> 3 dayThis book does so many tropes so well! A touch of darkness, a touch of Daddy kink, a sprinkle of May/December. turn so sharp it will give you whiplash with a dash of holiday cheer! There is not a whole lot I can say except Yoshi and Dmitry are nuclear level hot! I cant wait for more of this series!

> 3 dayTreat yourself to this book and you will be hooked! You sink into the story and are swept away by the emotions. Youll laugh, cry and be left speechless... Never a dull moment. I devoured it like it was made of melted chocolate. I was enthralled with the story and disappointed when it came to the end because it leaves you wanting more, and yet, satisfied. I cant wait for more of these captivating assasins.

> 3 dayWell. Yeah. That happened. So I read the warnings and if youre apprehensive about any of them, proceed elsewhere because theyre incredibly accurate. While not all of them are to my tastes, its clear that these men crave them all. Yoshi and Jacob are in a tenuous situation because even though Yoshi is drawn to the other man, hes also supposed to kill him. Theres something not quite right about the whole thing, so with the prep work and observation under way, Yoshi is determined to get to the bottom of everything. And get to the bottom he does, in spectacular fashion. The dynamic is hot and tender and extremely kinkaaaay. What confuses me is the danger and the need to complicate everything twice over with the emotional plot as well as the history and Connors investigation. We were on the way to resolving things and were then thrust back to the feelings of betrayal and hurt before getting back on track only to have it all repeat again. Jacob, Enrique, Connor, Yoshi...there are so many characters that get tossed in that it complicates feelings and the story a bit too much. I wish Enrique werent in the picture at all, and even if hes getting his own book, his role in this one shouldnt have been pushed in our faces so much, especially because we already have to deal with the emotional fallout from Jacobs past choices and Yoshis current choice. For the length of the story I wish it had been a little simpler. I thought the sweetness, when present, was heartwarming and the opportunity for second-chances was well-founded. Its true that distance and time was necessary for them to finally get on the same page, it just sucks that they needed all the hurtful things in the interim. Honesty was lacking between them in their beginning, but they more than made up for it in the end. And Connors story is really what drew my interest for the series so as we got to know him here I feel that its a perfect jumping off point to the pseudo-brothers journey.

> 3 dayHeat level 100 but thats about it. The premise is awesome but the execution is confusing, convoluted, and kinda creepy. Will try not to include any spoilers but not garunteed. I dont care how a kid is raised, (taught to be all sneaky and kill people from a young age makes him sooooooooo emotionally mature Im suuuuurrrree) but finding a 16 year old sexually attractive when the other party is not a teenager is gross and creepy. Im 35 and the very idea of being with a person that young is nauseating. Setting the stage for a D/s relationship like that? Dmitry shouldnt have just left, he should have put a bullet in his own head. But hes a Dom and an assassin blah blah blah. No. Just no. Guy was a predator, and not the sexy kind. Thank everything he didnt do more than TALK at that age but still, very off putting. Yoshi is a hypocritical sociopath. I get that being raised to think that human life is something that can be bought and sold would screw with a person but his thought process through the whole first half of the book is baffling. Like he gets the contract and is weirdly drawn to this guy and super turned on by him so instead of just talking to him (yeah it wouldnt have solved anything but HE didnt know that) his first thought is Im going to kidnap and torture this dude to figure out why he revs my engine so hard. Like.... What? Im going to go against my training and everything I was raised for and maybe not kill this guy but first let me torture this guy for days, then screw him, THEN decide if I want to kill him. SMH. I get WHY the POV was split down the middle and I see what the author was going for but execution was shaky at best. It was kind of confusing and honestly I got kind of bored and wanted to skip ahead or maybe just not finish it. the sexy times pushed me through to the end, but that was it. This whole dang thing was only made possible because instead of doing his job yoshi got horny. Literally. He wondered why he was horny and that took priority over doing the job he was literally raised for. Sex scenes were smoking. Out of this world fire, seriously. The story was not good. I MIGHT look into more from this author but probably not.

> 3 dayThis audiobook was not what I expected based on the title and blurb, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Yoshi has been part of The Assassins Guild for his entire life. Mr. H, the man who killed Yoshis parents, refused to kill Yoshi as a baby and instead adopted him into the Guild and raised him as his own son. Though it may seem strange, Yoshi loves Mr. H and holds no resentment towards him about his parents deaths. I had a hard time connecting to Yoshi in the beginning of the book because I couldnt figure out how seriously to take him as a character. Once I learned a bit more about him and got to listen to his stories about growing up with assassins, I felt more invested in his story. The unbelievable outcome of his 100th assignment was hilarious to me. The book picks up at the beginning of Yoshis Assignment #101. His mission is to kill a college professor in a small mountain town. What seems like an easy assignment gets derailed by Yoshis suspicions that the professor is not who he appears to be. Once Yoshi started setting up surveillance and trailing the professor, the story lost me for a bit. I didnt fully understand why Yoshi was so intent on kidnapping the professor instead of just completing his mission. I think I missed a lot of foreshadowing while I was confused, so Dmitrys big reveal was wasted on me. I wish I had more background on Dmitry before his reappearance so that I could have been more emotionally invested in their reunion. Instead, their first sexual encounter felt a lot like insta-love because I thought these two had just met and were already deeply emotionally connected to each other. Thankfully, it didnt take much longer to get some context and everything started to make sense again. Speaking of Dmitry, I felt like his character development happened in a strange order. I first found out about this guy faking his death and refusing to consider a relationship with Yoshi because they have an age gap. Without the context that happened much later in the story, his actions came across in a weird way and I didnt like him very much. Sure, its a good thing that he didnt have sex with a 16 year old, but faking your death and fleeing the country is not an appropriate response! Once I did get some of Dmitrys backstory, his actions were more relatable, though I am tired of reading books where the older man thinks his younger partner deserves someone his own age, whos less jaded, etc. etc. In sum, while this book took me on a long, winding journey, I did enjoy the story in the end. The side characters (Connor, Enrique, Alexei, Nigel) were amazing and I really hope they get their own stories. Though I would definitely classify this as a romance, it was fluffier than I expected for a book about assassins and BDSM relationships. There really isnt much on-page violence or intense sex at all. In terms of the narrator, I was very impressed with the different characters and accents he was able to do. His Russian accent was particularly sexy, and the way he narrated the sex scenes was amazing. I thought he did an incredible job bringing these people to life, and Im looking forward to reading more books that he has narrated. **I received an audiobook in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

> 3 dayClever, smart, and wickedly dirty, A.G. Carothers scores a perfect 10 with T.A.G. You’re Seen! The first book in their The Assassins’ Guild series, Carothers lays down a thrilling, fast-moving adventure. Wonderfully complex characters navigate twists and turns, all while a heart-touching tale unfolds. After all, assassins live, love, and laugh too. This audio version of T.A.G. You’re Seen is performed by Gomez Pugh, and I don’t have to tell his fans how perfect he is for this kind of novel. What an opportunity for this talented narrator to show off his impressive skill with accents... and his ability to croon those sexy Russian words of love! Horoshiy malchik, o da! Plus Mr. Pugh does an amazing job representing the wide variety of personalities in the cast. From the playfulness of the young guys to the gruffer, more somber, older men, Pugh’s performance is brilliant. This talented narrator has A.G. Carothers’ humor down pat, and I can’t wait to hear him perform the next episode in this series. Broken into two parts, T.A.G. You’re Seen begins with the story of a young assassin on (what should be) a routine job. Something doesn’t seem right, and when he takes a deeper look at his target, he’s in for a big surprise. Well that’s the story for the second half of the novel, and to say any more here would spoil the whole thing! The reveal is clever and a lot of fun. This is the second novel I’ve read by A.G. Carothers, and what captures me most about their writing are the connections between the characters. This is a stunning D/s relationship, and the emotions that emerge during the power exchanges are moving and truly beautiful. Carothers also explores the bonds between the wide mixture of men who make up the family of T.A.G. From father and son, to brothers, to comrades in arms, I’m looking forward to learning more about this eclectic blend of personalities in the next episode in The Assassins’ Guild series. There’s a wonderful, rich history between these characters, and I love the snarky banter as they navigate their way through the story. It’s not a comedy, but A.G. Carothers weaves touches of lightheartedness and humor throughout. There are also gritty stories of past assassinations, descriptions of torture techniques, and details of these guys’ lives that will tug at your heartstrings. A perfect blend of thriller, erotica, and a touching hurt/comfort tale, T.A.G. You’re Seen is everything I could want in a dark romance novel.
