Fine for the price. Like others have mentioned, this tape had a terrible (unnatural) odor for weeks after I first purchased it. The remaining rolls have been sitting in my storage unit and seem to have lost the odor. This is definitely bargain tape, but it works for shipping my eBay packages which are generally small and less than a pound. Ive noticed some packages that sat in my hot car before getting to the post office, the tape started to release and peel-up from the shipping box. But after pushing it back down it seemed to stick, and no customers have complained about packaging issues. I wouldnt use this for any heavy weight shipping.

Good heavy packing tape for the price.

Nice thick heavy duty tape, but the rolls are not 2 wide as described. They are 1.88 or so. I wanted 2 rolls to fit my dispenser. Not worth the hassle of returning, but I hope someone corrects the product description to be accurate.

As far as functionality, it fulfills it’s intended purpose pretty well. That said, this tape is Very Loud/Noisy. If it were being used in a production environment where noise was expected, this wouldn’t be an issue. However, I operate an online store and fulfill orders from my home (often late at night) and this tape is so loud that it would wake up others on the opposite side of my home. It does have an odor as others have said, but personally, that doesn’t bother me. If you are sensitive to smells though, it may or may not be an issue for you. I had previously been using Duck Brand EZ Start Tape but decided to look for a cheaper alternative due to its high price per roll. However, it looks like I’m going back to that one for now. If noise isn’t an issue for you though, this tape has a great price per roll and I’m sure will work just fine for you.

I was in the packaging industry for 30 years and I know about tape. Do not get fooled purchasing the low cost tape with out knowing what your buying. Most tapes sold in the stores are 2 mil thick and the Tapeking I purchased is 3.2 mil thick. This means the 3.2 mil tape hold heavier loads without using twice the tape. Now that is a money saver. One other thing, you will pay more for a 3.2 mil thick tape in the stores so buy it on line from TapeKing it works! This is not an add, I use it and happy with it.

Im one of those people that spends too much time trying to find the best deal - or item - and so you can imagine how things went when I tried finding packing tape! I spent a long time trying to find a decent tape at a great price and I ended up finding this. Im in awe by how economical Tape King is. The only weird issue it has is that it is LOUD when you try tearing it off the roll. Also, the adhesion is so-so. Its perfect for my purposes and the way I tape boxes because theres a tiny bit of leverage I have to tear tape off if I need to--but its also not weak enough for me to worry about it coming off (especially because I tape up the sides too). The only time I had a problem was when I was trying to go over a torn spot on the box--for some reason it wasnt really sticking there so I had to put extra tape. Now Im only worried about it expiring before I can use them all...does tape expire? Who knows.

This is not the first time I have purchased Tape King tape. Hands down it is the BEST tape I have used and I have tried them all. Unfortunately, it is not cheap but as we know you pretty much do get what you pay for. The cheaper tapes are not alway cheaper in the end as I have to use at least double and still have issues with packages opening up during shipping. This has made the cheap tape VERY expensive. I almost ALWAYS go for the leasr expensive assuming the quality is comparable. In this case you need to pay a little more in order to buy the least expensive. Tape king stand by itself as far as quality. There is none better that I have used no matter the mils or the length. It sticks and it does not break. As hard as it is to pay more for the same type product I have resolved to choose Tape king as my first choice of tape.
